I'm wondering really whether it is a fetish? (I know, but bear with me)
Do we regard it as a fetish because the feet are not required or involved in normal reproductive sex? Well in that case, then everyone I know has a lip fetish, 'cause they spend a lot of time getting pleasure from kissing.
If it were a fetish, then surely the foot fetishist could be quite happy with severed feet wherewith to occupy him/herself? If it were a fetish, then surely it wouldnt matter, to whom the feet belonged? This is where I think, foot fetishes vary with others a fair deal, in that fetishes for clothing etc do not rely explicitly on another living, breathing and cooperative person.
IME, those who designate themselves foot fetishists require that the feet are attached to someone whom they in general at least, would be sexually attracted. For the male foot fetishist who loves female feet, then its by no means, IME at least, just any female's feet, but someone to whom he is attracted by her other charms as well.
In that case, how is kissing lips any different to kissing feet, or any other part of the one you find attractive?
Just a question based on Sunday morning ramblings.
