My Father went to the Docter because he was haveing blood in his urine, a scan found his kidney to be way way larger then normal. The Docter told him that he thinks it is canser but wont make a final diagnosis till after tests that will be given friday.. Please I ask all my friends here and even you lurkers I have never met to pray to Your G-ds for my father for luck with fridays tests.. Thank you so much

I am sorry to hear of your worries - I have had people close to me in this same position, as you do.  For now, let's hope that the early tests are "false positives".

Enlarged kidneys and blood in urine are also classic symptoms of kidney stones. Often kidney stones will completely block passage ways and cause swelling, while sharp thorns of kidney stones cause cutting, bleeding, irritation and often infection.

Let's hope the condition is along the lines of kidney stones that may be treated sonically to break them and allow passage. Non-evasive treatment is often quite effective, but the patient may still endure irritation in passage. Antibiotics and anti-inflammatories are often a part of kidney stone treatments to lessen discomfort.

My father went through kidney stone treatments on two different occaisions over the years, and his symptoms sounded familiar.

ND yes kidney stones were a thought I dont know all the details but there was something els in the piliminery tests that lead the Doctor to think cancer i dont know exactly what that was.... I hope it is that simple thank you again

Thank you.. I did just get a little more info

the Doctor for what ever reason did defffinetly and totaly rule out kidney stones.... and there is ant least a 50/50 chance its cancer I really dont like those odds!!

I will pray its just a non-cancerous tumor and nothing more and that he comes through it easily.  I am sad to hear this.

Yes this is the name I use for my florida (I go to school in florida live in NY)account that I just opend I always forget what name Im sighned in under when I post not that it matters!!

Thank you all... I just ran into my sleepless father in the liveing room... he wont admit he is scared but I can see it in his face he looks like he hasnt slept in a year and I dont know what to say to him... Friday seems like an eternity from now and all we want are answers
