I don't care who posts where, but I generally don't post in the Ask a sub or ask a Master forum.  There are enough threads aimed directly at my orientation or interest to keep me busy.  Sometimes the divisions are set up for a reason.... though I would be interested to know how a Master feels while he is  "Queening" his submissive,. or perhaps if he prefers his high heels to be spikes or platforms when he is receiving foot worship from his submissive.

We are all free to post anywhere, but there are many instances when I understand why there are divisions.

Actually, Masters don't queen. They teabag. And the choice in footwear is steel-toe or soft-toe boots.

I don't really care where I post. I hardly ever go into "Ask a submissive" because I am not a submissive. However, if on the scroller I see something that interests me, I will go and respond, no matter the forum. I like the General, Ask a Mistress and Ask a Master forums the most. I never go into the Gor forum, simply because I have no idea what I would have to offer there <s>

I post wherever I want, but like many others I tend to stick with the general boards, I'm not male so I am not even going to attempt to answer things from their stand point so I rarely go into the ask a Master board. I'm not Gorean so I dont go in there either, other than that I go where I please, just as we are all free to do.... I get the idea of divisions though, that can be of a help to those who want the opinions of a certain group of people versus everyone. ( which does happen, hell I'm guilty of posting stuff directly related to a certain group).

I dont think its done to make people feel secluded though... I think its more along the lines of getting specific opinions without having to weed through everyones to get what you wanted in the first place.

Example: a male sub wanting to know an opinion of many FemDoms, he would be better off asking the FemDoms rather than the whole group, because its a specific group oriented question.

Why do people think that you shouldn't go into a forum just because of your orientation?

I may read in a forum not meant for me like Ask a mistress/switch (not yet visited the switch forum), but those discussions are not for me to respond to. I will post in them only when I have a question I want specifically answered by a mistress, or switch. So when I do post in such a thread, it shall be with a question.

I expect anyone who wants perhaps me to participate in a thread, to post the thread in one of the general fora or in a forum specific for me.

Totaly in agreement with you there LA.

The forum divisions IMO mearly tailor how the question is percieved. IE in 'ask a Master' the question is obviously ment to specificaly draw responces from a Male Dom perspective. That doesn't preclude other opinions being put forward as 'additional info' or 'food for thought'

The way I view it, when a question is placed in 'ask a Master' , that is aimed at Me, I am, to an extent being asked directly and that colours how I approach the answer. When I answer a post in another forum, I keep in mind that I am 'offering' an alternate PoV and haven't been asked directly.... but I certainly don't let it restrict where I post.
