I have always preferred to communicate by writing. With my Daddy it has been a constant struggle for me to learn to express myself out loud and he is constantly finding ways to make me talk about my desires etc.
In the past little while though he has had me write a diary every day. It seems like back-tracking to me. I am just starting to get comfortable with talking and now he's got me back to writing. But I guess maybe it is useful to communicate in both ways since I might say different things in writing than I would if I had to say it out loud.
Aside from my marriage, my past relationships were almost entirely online and so all the communication was written. I guess I don't care how my man communicates with me as long as he is honest with me and can explain his feelings.
