"In general, males will go for the very young piece of female meat if given the choice."

The same can be said for many of the Ladies out there that are looking for males, especially the Ladies in their 30s and 40s it would seem.  In my own case, i'm a 54 year old male submissive, and i frequently will see a new profile of a Lady near my age looking for a sub, and i think, "maybe this time?", only to see that She will state that she wants someone as much as 20 years younger than She is, and definitely no older. I would not say this is "the rule", but it is far from infrequent.  Many is the time that i have felt like simply giving up the search because of my age.

According to a few ladies I know both face to face and on line, their preference for a younger man (18 to 25) is based purely on sexual staminar and the ability to get a hard on at the click of the fingers or the flash of a naked boob. They don't want a relationship but a male fucking maching with a huge hard throbbing member.. According to them, they can get all the forplay from older gentle men friends and the younger guys ate there for the thrills...

Perhaps some older guys seek young and less experienced girls for either the ego trip of having some delectable sexy thing on their arm in public or because they figure the young lasses are tired of the guys who know jack shit about forplay or wanting to please a female and think that all a female wants is a hard on being rammed to the hilt for a couple of hours at a time..

Seems to me that there is a happy medium in these things where all parties can get want they want. but you'd probably need to have one of each to achieve this. It's just one of life's little mysteries and in the end, not a particularly important one anyway.

To me, it would depend on what you are looking for. Younger women (and men too) are for the most part not ready for, or even looking for, long term relationships or commitments.

For me age doesn't matter that much with the caveat that I probably couldn't be with an 18 year old hard body because, what the hell would you talk about? I think that would be too young.
And I would have a sub older than me as long as she was in good shape.
I'm just not into the whole "overweight" thing.
That would (to me) be more of a negative factor than age.

Well we can only have sex and beat up each other so many hours of the day, then the talking part would be nice (WEG)

That isn't an age thing though. OK there are 'some' subjects that are difficult. Like when I'm chatting away with helen and I'll see 'that' look which tells Me she hasn't a bloody clue who it was I was refering to (I couldn't believe she didn't know who 'the Goons' where, the Goon show was HUGE over here, even Prince Charlie was a big fan). But other than that we can talk about ANYTHING. She is a bright girl, with opinions and ideas of her own and she isn't afraid to express them. I've met women twice or three times her age who, if the conversation strays off the topic of whatever idiot soap they watch, they have nothing to say.

My point exactly...and Popeye's too, me thinks!

Perhaps those guys who insist on women MUCH younger than themselves aren't looking for relationships, but rather a quick roll in the hay?

And no, Raven...I am NOT discussing anything close to what you were discussing, here, Sir!

Well that would depend exactly what it was you where discussing. If you where indulging in a veiled ageist attack on the young, then no, it isn't anything close.

When I said helen and I can and do discuss ANYTHING that also includes examining and discussing all aspects of our relationship, the emotions involved, the way the dynamic works, behaviour, attitude, problems, things we enjoy.... sure she isn't much over half My age but what we have is definatly NOT just a roll in the hay.

And I have met many young ladys older than myself who where looking for exactly that, a number of them looking for it behind their husbands back! I state again dear, it isn't an age thing at all but something down to an individuals personality.

My former dom was 18 years older than myself, he kinda cured me of wanting a man that was much much older. He would admire my intellect, but there were just some things that he could not get about my generation, and there were some things I just couldn't get about his... these things we could have bridged, but there were other things I could not. He became a grandfather while we were seeing each other. He would go on and on and on about his grandson (completely normal and I didn't mind at all), but he knew this was something I hadn't experienced, and he would talk about this fact all the time. I began to suspect he would be better off with someone who had experienced it.

That was his thing, and not mine, but now I am seeing someone with children right in the ballpark as the same age as my son. He is closer to my cohort group, lived through the same history. He is also from the same region as me.

I think it is odd, the one that was so much older was in many ways not emotionally available on the level I needed... whereas the one that is almost my age I am forming this Daddy dynamic with... so no, it is not about age at all, even when talking about a Daddy Dom dynamic... I could never have called my former dom Daddy, and the younger one IS my Daddy... just my thoughts.

I am a 19yr old submissive..and in my case if I had a younger Dom then it would almost be illegal lol. I want a older Dom who has the life experiance to teach me. But not too much older to where he starts talking about music and movies beyond my knowledge. I believe age matters when it depends on what your looking for.

No age does not matter. My Master is much older then me. And he is not looking for a quick roll in the hay and wasnt looking for one when we first met. Even through our age difference we talk plenty, there may be some things that are different between us but that just makes things more interesting. I have dated guys my age and guys younger and they never worked. The relationship I have with Master is the best one I have had. I have learned so much from him already and am heading down a different and better path then I was before we met. He has been good for me and the age difference has never bothered me and it never will.

Hells bells mate I'd forgotten all about the Goon Show on the radio. I can't help how Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers and Harry Secombe, would have dealt with the BDSM or Gor.... The characters of Ned Seagoon, Eccles, Bluebottle, Major Bloodnok, Minnie Bannister, Henry Crun, Grytpype-Thynne and Moriarty would have had a ball...

Ned Seagoon: "Eccles, where did you put that naked slave you silly Eccles you?"
Eccles:  "Ahhhrrrrrr I don't know. In the coal seller I think."
Ned Seagoon: "Why did you put her in the coal seller and not the cage?"
Eccles:  "That silly Bluebottle ran off with the key..He gave it to that Gorean Mastyer Moriarty..."

Does age matter in a sub?

For me, no. I have oft noticed the young to be lacking in understanding and caught up in surface image, though they can be very open-minded and pliable. Older ones tend to be more fixed in their views of the world, and hold religiously to opinions they've formed over the years—which can make training more involved and redundant. Each age bracket brings about its own challenges depending upon generational influences and level of development. My preference lies somewhere between 25 – 40. Those below that range tend to lack a certain self-actualization. Those above that range tend to require a lot of deep-level undoing and reprogramming.

I don't really care about age. I care about how we work out together. My slave is exactly 10 years and 11 days older than me.

i would first like to say a big thank Y/you to Y/you A/all . i have sat here laughing at the humour , taking in the points and questioning  myself on some points but on the whole im sitting here smiling . i guess ,the reason  i asked is because i feel old rather than  others looking upon me,  one or two said it  and i guess it hit a nerve  so that in me i will address and but right . some times we get hurt and think were over things yet there are little underlineing things we need to question guess this was one . so thank Y/you all for the input and helping me see things much better now ...

warm reagards to A/all .

It amazes me how many men think the idea of being a self-directed dildo is a compliment. (Not saying you are, IronBear.) There have been times I would have been grateful for one, but not normally.

I can candidly admit that I have an age preference that is reasonable and based upon my lifestyle and preferences. While you lament that women do the same I can assure you there are large numbers of men aged 50+ that quite enjoy the thought of someone in her twenties or thirties. How do you explain this phenomenon?

...............................

In response to the question posed, nothing has changed at all. People are merely exercising their choices as always. You are merely more aware of this after having been gone. Best of luck on your search.

I personally enjoy older women because there are often less of the games played.  I also seem to see more of an agreeable attitude.  Older women are not trying to let their age work for them, so they instead let everything else work for them.

~Fast reply~

I have no hard and fast rules or preferences regarding age, but have found that things have worked out better when the girl was closer to my own age.

Sir…I was not attacking the young; nor saying that sometimes great disparities in age matter one hoot!

You talk about helen as the woman she is; you do not seem to be overly interested in the fact that she is a young.  I was discussing what we call ‘Trophies’ here… the very young, beautiful women SOME men insist on having later in life.  Some people (both men & women) just seem to prefer easy rolls in the hay and pretty eye-candy on the arm, to a committed partnership.  When youth and looks become the primary interest…it just seems like that’s the case.

There are several many people here who…when I read their profiles…I’m surprised at their age.  I play with an awesome Domme from time to time…who is 33!  There are others who, at 50 years…seem way too old for me.

I can’t believe I missed your post yesterday, Sir…and I’m sorry for this late apology, now.  I’m not very ‘veiled’ and tend to be too blunt, actually; but truly…I meant no attack.

I’m sorry for the misunderstanding…
beverly
