kitty: My mother was an elementary school teacher, and a music teacher, for many years and she loved it! Her ex-students used to come up to her in places like malls and grocery stores, years later, and thank her for being such an inspiring teacher. She really loved it. I think some people really just are born to be teachers, so if you think you are, and want to do it, then go for it and good luck! I am not currently working. My spouse died last February, and I am working on things like getting my house ready to sell. I do an above average amount of volunteer work with abused and neglected kids, and for another place. I would love to find a new career, my old one was market research analyst, and housewife. I was thinking of selling real estate, but the market is already starting to crash, so I am thinking "no" on that, for now. I will work at any job if I need money. I've had some wonderful jobs, and some jobs that simply paid the bills. I've been working since I was 13 years old, with the exception of 6 years when I was married. It's kind of nice to have time to figure out now what my next step should be - I am thinking that one over, still. Good luck, and have fun! - Susan
