Do you ever post on a thread and then forget you posted on it, come back days later and find that people have responded to your post and asked you questions, but feel that too many days have passed since posting and now you want to respond but don't want to bring the thread back to the front burner?

I just did that.

This happens to me a lot. I try to play catch-up, but it's almost impossible. I usually try to just go back a bit and answer from there, hoping that doesn't make anyone think I don't feel their post was as good or as important.

I've done that.

I've posted, asked intricate questions, then forgot I had posted in the first place. Weeks or months later I stumble onto the thread, and of course don't respond since it died it's own death along the way.

Makes me feel bad, though, since people have contributed good thought, insight and imagination to those threads, and for what? I only hope that those who read and conversed in them got some value from them.

Of course, and it bugs the crapola out of me. Although my doctor did tell me the other day that fatigue and forgetfulness are a part of this perimenopause whoremoanal hell. All I can say, as spacy as I have been lately it is a good thing I do not yet have to wear glasses, I would loose them all the time.

Me too but around here we call it AAADD; Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder. Except in my case, then we just say Blond Moment, lol
