I've noticed everyone, and I'm sorry that I havent spoken to each and everyone of you.  Sometimes I think we get rapped up in our own little worlds, and I would like to offer my apology.  ( however you spell that, my spell check is not working).

I think you are right in that it's been a bit overdone. Those threads, while they may be started with the best of intentions, never fail in hurting or alienating some. Especially, those who seem to derive their sense of self worth by their interactions and how well they "fit in" in this Stupidity section. I also think that "high school" on most days was probably more mature than what I have seen in this section of the boards lately. I used to really enjoy coming here as a nice little diversion. I think most of the posters on collarme at one time used it as just that. It has morphed a bit though and now it seems that there are groups of folks that live here. I enjoy humor as much as the next....but for me it has to be balanced with the "meat" of deeper and more stimulating conversation. The board here has been reduced to a chat room mentality of sorts....and I am not even sure I understand why anyone would be drawn to it....but then again I have never understood what draws people to a chat room either.  I have seen people state they have made a lot of friends here...but to be honest I don't understand how that is possible either when the majority of interaction here is one liners. Maybe they all throw e-mail back and forth...who knows....but based upon the "smacks ______ and runs giggling" and the "sticks ass in the air for cyber flogging by _____", I can't imagine that those kind of comments would motivate anyone to take that step to try to get to know someone more and send off an email. I am sure that there must be deeper individuals behind the banter...at least I would hope there is....but when the only thing you ever see is the "chatroom" personality that gets presented....well for me, it's just a turn off. I'm sure that it fills some need in some....I just don't personally understand it. Maybe it's just me...but I find I come "down" here less and less.....and I'm pretty sure there are those who probably like it much better that way too.....lol.

I have to agree with you Erin. I find myself coming less and less. It's become less appealing to me and sometimes it's hardly stimulating.

Those of you that want to sigh and roll your eyes go ahead. It's my own little personal rant something I've noticed occurring more and more the intent was not to point anyone out. Those of you that agree well that's cool too. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. I'm just making the statement that I don't feel one bit sorry for the Girls or the guys for that matter that repeatedly come into the I wanna complain thread or others and say ohhhh poor me I'm leaving the forum and then everyone in that little particular clique feeds into by saying oh please don't go I'm gonna miss you.. It's ridiculous is that the only way that you can get attention?? Really now.. The superlatives thread I thought was very high schoolish.. NO I am not a member of the cheerleading squad nor do I care to be so who cares if you vote some virtual person Most likely to do so and so.....And you know the point I really wanted to make is that the people who start those threads are usually the ones who are spouting the whole oh grow up line the most.

My favorite rant is Collar Me itself these days.  I have tried numerous times to have pics approved for my profile.  Never fails, within a few days, I get this form letter that says that my pics do not meet the Collar Me standards.  Then I do a search for pics of profiles, and I find the same style of pics that I have just been rejected for, on other profiles!  I then email Collar Me, asking for them to re-consider my pics, and I get denied.  If this was not a free site, I would be asking for my money to be refunded.

we are the pioneers of the net age. just as people were excited and eploring new frontiers - so to is the net. it is also very fluid.

groups go thru phazes and moods.... if a group is out of line for too long- or if teh topic has simply run its course people move on.

so picture a bowl of cherries- some with pits. here we are. :-)

I see a lot of opinions that I agree with, but never bother to post about those posts.  After all, if my opinion has been stated, why re-state it? 
 
There does seem to be competition on these forums for who can type the fastest, and answer the most threads, and get paddles or cuffs under their name.  I prefer not to post if I have nothing to contribute.  Besides, I'm a troll and a snert and a pro-domme and no one respects me anyway! LOL

Be proud that your cuffs have been earned with quality posts.  I don't bother with the posts where I would just be agreeing and saying more of the same... I try to provide an outlook (when I have one) that has a glimmer of a different way to view things.  Though, as a result I am sure I come across as disagreeable thread after thread... when I really do agree with so many, but how many "dittos",  "I agree" and "what she said" can one thread hold. 

I will add my own rant: 
Does anyone ever really spit coke or coffee on their computer screen or keyboard?  Is anything here ever really that funny?  I have laughed hard many times in my life, and nothing has ever come flying out of my mouth and landed on an object in front of me.  I highly doubt that more than 1 percent of people who write that they had to wipe spittle off their screens after reading something here, actually had to wipe of the screen....  so why say it???  It's a pet peeve of mine.  <rant over>.

I have never spewed liquid on my computer either.. although I have laughed out loud on many occasions! 
 
oh and BTW I have a warm affection for everyone here, and though I may not tell you I agree, very often I do.. and very often what is said does make me think.. (which can't be a bad thing, can it?)  :)
