It is tough... And yes, all i can do is be there for both of them. They were there for me, and even if they weren't, i would still be there anyway, they are both good people. Now he called me the other day, and said that his family wants to try to take their two young boys away from them. He said his family, especially his own parents, now, after all this time he spent "serving the lord" in their church ( his dad is the pastor) believes he will be poison to his boys and make them as evil and sinful as they believe he is. He said that his father told him that he will not stand for his own son vexing the souls of his grandchildren. He said that right before his father hung up, he said "i don't have a son right now, i want that son back". Then he hung up without saying good-bye. THAT has to be the hardest thing...*sigh It makes me so angry that their has to be this type of ignorance separating a family. Over doctrine and dogma...*sigh It is going to be really tough for the both of them for they don't have the same finances that his father does, to afford the better attorneys and that knowing their whole private lives are going to be drug through the mud in the next year or so.
