Status: offline 		[image]greetings all. just a statement about something that has bothered me for a while during my searches. people who give the state as their location. virginia is a large place and when i am searching for a Mistress or Master and i find someone who matches me and their location is listed as virginia. i have to cantact this person to find out just where they are located. it takes time and a lot of effort to do all of this just to find that they live 200 miles from me. which is too far for me to travel. if thye could just simply say they live in central or northern va or give the county they live in it would help in making a decision if it is worth contacting this person.

*BUT*
Remeber chat. . .and how people will list their location as "hell" "above you taking your breath away" "in your nightmares" "next to your ATM" "on the phone with your wife" . . .I've seen too many of those to get hung up on someone just listing their state.

*AND* another thought, if someone is being that vague about their location, they probably don't WANT to get "got". . .if you know what I mean.

Greetings yourmaleslavetoy (and from here on out I'm going to call you 'your' unless you give us a name to work with),

I can certainly appreciate your dilemna and frustration. I wonder, however, if you are only seeing it from your own perspective. Aside from the usual reasons some don't give a more specific location (trying to be discrete among them) it's possible that some people don't WANT to be contacted by someone who is unable/ unwilling to do a little traveling; or they don't want to be contacted by people who wouldn't take the time to find out?

If you're finding that you don't wish to contact people that are that far away then why not assume anyone who puts 'Virginia' alone in their profile is either too far away or doesn't want to be contacted, then move on. It will save you the wasted time and frustration and would be significantly easier than trying to get everyone else (I think we're over 20,000 members now) to do it your way.

Granted, it's going to limit your potential playing field but that sounds better to me than pissing in the wind, don't you agree? Alternately you could buck up and spend some time getting to know people here on the boards with a 'meeting' as a secondary goal; you might be surprised at how responsive people can be when someone has taken the time to get to know them. You might also be surprised at how getting to know someone can enrich your life even if it's not in the way you hoped.

Status: offline 		trying being from TEXAS.. you can travel for 12 hours and still be in the same state!.. In My case I'd love to at least have it narrowed down regions or mile radius.

Having said that, you and your "kind" are a dime a dozen; which is why pro dommes do such a great business. Quite True. Here in Virginia there are laws still on the books that could result in a married hetero couple going to jail for a blowjob.
