This is the same little honey I posted about a month or so back.... was all set, just needed a ½ tank of gas to be "your's".... She started out on Texas under one ID.... disappeared, only to resurface a week or so later in Louisiana... Her profile now says she's back in Texas... and still ready to join her new owner who is willing to merely share the gas money. I suggest everyone send a fuck you get out of our sandbox message when scammers like this crawl the periphery of collarme. [Mod Note: Bread crumbs removed. Outing other users here is not permitted. Trying to get around the rules by being cute or leaving clues to their profile doesn't make it any more allowable. If you have knowledge of a user who is defrauding other users please contact Support directly with that information and let them look into the situation.]

If she can hook half a dozen suckers in a month, that's rent. If she's doing this here and on a.com and b.com and who knows how many other sites, that's a pretty nice monthly income. ~stef

now that's what I've been thinking...all that for a measely $250....even if she hit 10 people with it....that's a lot of calls and emails and such to get $2000. there are far better scams she could be running to earn more than that. ouch...personal pain, she spent considerable amounts of time on the phone with each of us (candide and myself)....and if others say this is the third profile they've seen, who knows how many times she's done this. quite a racket she's got...

sorry to hear this...PT BARNUM sais it best and we all live and learn.[;)] i spent $800 on just a visit for a weekend and damn near ruined myself financially and otherwise to relocate to those that were to have owned me but fate stepped in (thank heavens) and stopped me. i'm still trying to pick up the peices. hell i just finished unpacking the other day but ya know what? it could have been waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy worse!

sometimes we forget common sense when we think that the 'perfect match ' has been found. it took me 6 months to figure it out and it still sux be grateful you didnt have alot more feelings time and money invested and yeah i know its an insurance policy now.....[&:]

Because this thread is already taken the usual CollarMe twists and turns (the OP is upset because people called him an idiot (correctly, in my view) instead of being "constructive", people have attempted to "out" the alleged scam artist, even Mod11 came by, and posted what for her is a rather endearing, gentle note) I'll keep it up with this interjection: Please, people, do not keep invoking "legal recourse". There is really no legal remedy for what happened here. First, as mistoferin correctly points out, the costs of recovering $250 in our legal system far outweigh the original sum lost. Filing fees in most courts for this type of case are $100+. Moreover, what did this person do that was illegal? Think about this, folks. Did she break a law? If I were stretching, I might...MIGHT...argue that she obtained property under false pretenses (a misdemeanor, usually). But even that is a hard case to make. By the OP's own statement, she asked for a gift and he sent it. The fact that she didn't "perform" to his absolutely unreasonable expectations is irrelevant.

Yet ask them to apply this same logic towards their finances, material goods, or childcare and you get a completely different response. I've illustrated this to say that I'm willing to bet you put far more energy and thought into the above than you did into this situation. I don't think you'd hand over money to a complete stranger and expect them to invest it wisely on your behalf. But you willingly did the same in regard to your heart and safety and felt no qualms about it. The bigger question here isn't about the mistakes made or lessons learned, but what you both are lacking that compelled you to enter into this arrangement in the first place. It wasn't the agreement that led to the potential deception. But merely the fact that you failed to exercise judgement and allowed your need for instant gratification to outweigh the common sense I'm certain you both possess. In life we typically get what we pay for. It is probable that you have been bilked, but in reality you've gotten off cheap. porcelaine

Emotions aren't rational critters, and sometimes spark us into doing things that we otherwise would never consider. I am sorry to hear that someone got scammed here, but agree with Emperor that the legality of it would be questionable in court. The ethics of it are a different story. On the plus side, the more of us that learn from this, the wiser we all will be in the future. Some people make mistakes that cost them their lives. In light of that, $250 is a small price to pay for an ounce of wisdom.

Orrrr even worse... the pimpdaddy could be a female pimpdaddy and all her girls could really be prissy boys... Regarding other mention in this thread of "what crime has been committed?"... it's called theft by deception in many places, and theft by taking in others... either flavor of fraud you or the authorities call it, it's still theft accomplished with intent. If the scam were to ever get investigated and it was determined there was more than one "gift" being arranged, that in itself would satisfy the requirements for the scammer's prosecution. Of course the scammer hedges their bet that their victims will all keep mum and avoid ANY potential embarrassments... that is their only weakness after-the-fact, and your money is in their hand. Their activities online can be traced, and even with deleting their correspondences... server backups are still full of them.... as is Google!

Hello, I think I have seen this profile and have briefly talked to the person in question, she blocked me once I offered to come to her location and move her and her goods.That usually will shut most of them up quickly. In my experience sadly this is just another blemish on the community at large. As for whether she committed a crime the answer is yes, breach of a contract whether written or not, as well as grand theft by electronic means.Wire fraud which is both a State offense and a Capital offense if she used the INTERNET to set it up. If she uses Western Union it is bank wire fraud . Since they use electronic means to perform the transaction. Any how, either way this scam will continue to be used both in the lifestyle and in the vanilla world. Management really cannot stop them directly, they can only ban them until they pop back up under another nick, Unless the authorities can find the person in question and put them where they belong in prison. I never conclude any slave being mine until they actually walk through my door. In hind sight, is it worth the time and effort to try to recover or force the opportunist into a law abiding person? Nope, they will continue on the path they are on until they cross paths with someone who has the means to stop them. Most of society, luckily do not seek to waste our time on worthless efforts. As for constructive suggestions, lesson learned, we all must learn from our own misjudgment , I for one do not judge the op one way or another. live and learn is my motto always. Good Luck

If someone doesn't have $250 in their savings that tells me anyway that I just wouldn't be interested. If they don't have some type of savings plan they're not a responsable person to begin with. What type of scam is that anyway that they're "happy" with taking someone for $250? That alone shows no initiative! I'd have more "respect" for them if they were doing it for $20,000. Small-time low life druggy, probably!
