An observation of some emails i recieved.  Please take everything with a pinch of salt and a good sense of humour lol.

 thank you so much for blessing this small  and inferior being with an email. i know i am unworthy to speak to someone as great as you and of course i will bow down in your presence , my arse!
 
Is it just me but since when does calling yourself a Dom make you one?
Should i instantly drop to my knees for fear of his wrath?
What ever happened to earing respect, proving you are capable of seeing/sceneing/owning a subbie.
If i say i am a Dom i must be(100% subbie btw)
If i say i am a man does that mean i must be a man ?(girlie honest)
Now i may be only 23 and i may of only been at this 4 years but if a bloke walked into a nilla bar up to the first women he likes the look of and tell her to get her coat because she is coming home with him for a good seeing to i think he would get a slap.
The same with a club go into a bdsm club and say on your knees bitch wont get you very far
so why does it happen here?

Because here there are no consequences.  If slapped down frequently enough, most people will gradually learn.  Words on a screen don't convey the same rejection, so the fools you describe can remain oblivious, and keep presenting that same insulting pick-up line over and over.

Actually, you didn't have to put it anywhere. You could've just deleted the message, blocked the sender and gone on with life instead of bringing it up on a discussion board like it means something to anyone else. This style of contact obviously works or else people wouldn't keep doing it. Who the hell are you to judge them? And what the hell do you know about being a dominant or what makes for a good dominant in general. Doesn't it take more then just saying your a submissive to be one? Obviously not from the profile I read.

I got a mail the other day that said, "I have read your profile, like what I see. You may now approach." Best laugh I have had on here in a week. I like the loser mails and most the time send back something like, "Would you like me to crawl to you or wait for you to approach me?"

For the same reason, most likely, that a "dominant" sent a message to my own slave, to wit: "Let me know when you're ready to upgrade". <shrugs>
Lack of accountability, mutual respect, real-world consequences (probably already blacklisted from most parties), etc etc etc.

I remember posting about some of the e-mails I got.... got some pretty good laughs at some of the e-mails other people were getting too...
 
To the OP, stupidity is found in all sorts of places... unfortunately within WIITWD it seems to attract extra dummies lol. Rest assured that we have ALL gotten some dinger mails... just laugh and chalk it up to getting comfortable around here... hint.... block and delete are your friends *wink*

~chokes and snorts~...God, every time I think I've been a bit full of myself, I read something like this line sent to your lady and realize that "yeah, I may have been a bit...but most likely, I was acting along fairly normal, self-assured lines".  That line smacks not just of lack of respect and accountability but also of just plain arrogance and conceit and stupidity.

I'm reminded of something that I've seen attributed to several different people but most credibly Ambrose Bierce. I've updated and occasionally paraphrased him, the quality of Bierce's wit is something I envy. “I am in the smallest room of my house. I have your email printed in front of me. Soon I shall have it behind me.”

Simply put, this is why the delete key and button were invented.  It is an unfortunate fact of life that some senders really should use it before the recipient.
