Hi i was wondering do you and your Dom/Master, Domme/Mistress have a song that you think of as "your" song"?

Master and i have 2 that i think of as "our " songs  one is "Love Me Do" by the Beatles an the other is " Happy Together" by the Turtles (i think).

Yes it may be a little sappy but it works for us.

Sappy is good. I can definitely relate to sappy. I can relate to having a song, too. Ones that have meant alot to me and a special someone include "I Will" by the Beatles; "The Boxer" by Simon and Garfunkel; and, best of all, "Moon River", from Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Dada. Now there is a great band that should have been huge.

Right now?  The entire Snow Patrol Album 'Eyes Open'... but in particular -
'Set The Fire to the Third Bar' fucking has me in tears (knows you are reading this and smiling)
& 'Chasing Cars'

Hear them here if you wish.

"Down Together"  and "Me Kong" by the Refreshments and "Designs on You" by the Old 97s

They're weird, depressing-ish songs for a happy relationship but they've sorta become our songs.

Tell me about it.  They always played shows in Norfolk/Va Beach in the 90's.  I saw them a few months ago when they toured again for their first album in 6 years.  Great show. :-)

Be well,
Julie

My boy and I love the same types of music, so many songs seem to become "our" songs.  One of my happiest memories is of the two of us parked in a parking lot one night, singing along to Coldplay's song "Shiver".

Be well,
Julie

Wow, you guys totally rock for that!  I missed them last time they came to town VERY unfortunately, but I hope to see them as soon as I can.

And yes, they should have and should still be huge.

babysburnin -> RE: Songs (8/24/2006 9:40:27 PM)

"Tell Him", remake by Vonda Shepard

(I have many, but he likes this one the best.)

Slipstreme -> RE: Songs (8/24/2006 10:11:29 PM)

"My" song is "Cold" (but I'm still here) by Evan's Blue.

MasterNdorei -> RE: Songs (8/24/2006 11:46:58 PM)

i am not sure this is the actual name... but Wake Me Up Inside by Evanescence always reminds me of how greatful i am that Master and i found each other.

twicehappy -> RE: Songs (8/25/2006 4:36:36 AM)

As much as i detest country music at the moment it would be"Put another log on the fire".

Wow, great to find some other dada fans on here!  And I agree, they should have been huge.  I've seen them three times and I think they just keep getting better live.  If you go to their website www.dadatheband.com you can find two new studio tracks they've just released, one fast and rocking, one slow and...harmonius.   And you can also get CDs of full concerts of their last tour if you prefer them live and kicking.

I guess I should have known that kinksters would be smart enough to know about dada.   Ah, I can already feel the flaming arrow heading my way now from Lucky Albatross for starting a whole new "Kinkisters are smarter/cooler/more sensitive/all around better than normal people" thread.

Comin' to you in 7.1 stereo,

Puno aka DCS

No. In fact, Master and I do not even enjoy the same music. I detest country, which is what Master listens to, and he can not stand classical; which is what I listen to [:)]

MissUnleaded -> RE: Songs (8/28/2006 12:51:48 PM)

Not really, but if we did it would be something by Rammstein.  Perhaps Reise Reise.  He sings it very well.
