"Hello?"

"Hi honey.

This is Daddy. Is Mommy near the phone?"

"No, Daddy.

She's upstairs in the bedroom with Uncle Paul."

After a brief pause, Daddy says,

"But honey, you haven't got an Uncle Paul."

"Oh yes I do, and he's upstairs in the room with Mommy, right now."

Brief Pause.

"Uh, okay then, this is what I want you to do.Put the phone down on the table, run upstairs and knock on the bedroom door and shout to Mommy that Daddy's car just pulled into the driveway."

"Okay, Daddy, just a minute."

A few minutes later the little girl comes back to the phone.

"I did it, Daddy."

"And what happened, honey?" he asked.

"Well, Mommy got all scared, jumped out of bed with no clothes on and ran around screaming.

Then she tripped over the rug, hit her head on the dresser and now she isn't moving at all!"

"Oh my God!!! What about your Uncle Paul?"

"He jumped out of the bed with no clothes on, too.

He was all scared and he jumped out of the back window and into the swimming pool.

But I guess he didn't know that you took out the water last week to clean it.

He hit the bottom of the pool and I think he's dead."

***Long Pause***

***Longer Pause***

***Even Longer Pause***

Then Daddy says,

"Swimming pool?

Is this 486-5731?"

i have to agree with SohCahToa, that is a good one.........

my daughter who was just starting kindergarten 5yrs ago, came home at lunch time told me a joke that no child should ever hear let alone repeat. however when she did and i laughed at it, she cried and thought she was in trouble.

"Mommy, what kind of bees make milk?"

"i don't know sweety"

"what kind of bees make milk?"

"Mommy boo bee's make milk"

well after laughing and telling her that she was not allowed to repeat it, and explaining why she went on to tell her friends and they told their parents etc etc. so i got many a call asking if i knew she did this and i told them i'd talk toher again.

Thanks for making my day. what great jokes! And yes, kids say the most amazing things. I have two that have shared some surprising issues from school. You know it's a great place to learn ... Ha ha ha

"You know it's a great place to learn ... Ha ha ha " how very true.

another one she told me was: "Mommy, how do you get an elephant in the fridge?"

"Not sure kiddo, how?"

"Put Peanut Butter in the fridge"

"How do you get Him out mommy?"

"i don't know, how do you get him out?"

"call the elephant and leave a trail of peanuts for him or peanut butter sandwiches."

now that was cute........ i couldn't help but laugh, even though the joke made no sense to me at first.

she comes up with all kinds of jokes even those old knock knock jokes we used to tell as kids ourselves.

hey wait.........i am still a kid..... well a kid at heart LOL

have a great weekend and remember keep laughing it helps make the days go by fast and it also helps make us feel better when we're down.
