how common is it for a submissive, during a scene/session to become electic to touch? this happens to me and i have tried to google it to no avail.
if He touches me he feels a buzzing... and occasionally i have heard it as he touched me and the pillow my head was on at the same time... i am curious as to what causes this reaction?

I'd say pretty infrequent. Contact a local university and have them (that would be the science dept.) run some tests.

Do you tend to cause problems with computers (i.e they crash do weird things when you are near/use them)?

If so all the more reason to do the above.

Can you tell if somone has been in a room since you last left (assuming they are not there when you re-enter).

Even more reason.

the computer generally is ok, but i have never been near one soon after a session. and i dont appear to have any peculiar abilities in regard to sensing people, although sometimes its as if i can feel their emotions....

thanks for the response, i would love to hear from anyone else who this happens to

that would make sense, i guess, but it doesnt necesarily discharge, it tends to stay, and always happens no matter the type of play involved... but many thanks for the link

If you are indeed emitting electric discharges of a measurable nature..I would suggest that you keep a fire extinguisher nearby during the dry months. I've heard that Spontaneous Human Combustion (or SHC in certain circles) can be a real bitch. If you start to notice smoke, pull the pin on the extinguisher, and be prepared.

i actually had a partner with which this occurred. i've never heard anyone else speak of it. At times i could actually feel within her what i could only describe as electricity, the sort of low level buzz you get when you touch an appliance or outlet that is not grounded correctly (or whatever causes that to happen with real electricity)

It didn't happen all the time, only during the most intense sexual exchanges. As a whole we were incredibly connected to one another, spiritually, emotionally, sexually and even physically as we spent a lot of time together. She did have the ability to 'sense' things although it freaked her out a bit and she never tried to harness it in any way.

my theory was that all things are a form of energy and therefore vibrate at a certain frequency (not just my opinion, lots of science to back that up) and the combination of what we both brought to the moment was just off the f***ing charts.

It didn't frighten either of us, we just enjoyed it when in happened. But depending on how electric things get MMNH's suggesting might be well heeded.

Well not discharging tells me that the feeling is not actuall electrical in nature since you would not have the same electrical charge in both people and touching would make the difference cause a discharge.
BTW I have once had a static discharge during a flogging scene with a man who had a hairy back, the flogger tails brushing the hairs with the strikes built a static charge, when I would step over and test the skin temp (someone I had not played with before) I would get a static shock much like rubbing feet on the carpet in winter.

Otherwse I would say that the "buzzing" feelin is more a matter of feeling the increased blood flow or at the most tiny muscle contractions, if it is anything.

This is intresting , as I to have had this experience with my girl. I'd let my finger tips lighhty brush her skin and feel a tiny "buzzing". Thought it was just a freak thing that happened to just us. But now I see its not. This also happened when NOT playing for us I noticed as well.

i'm not sure if this is similar, but i had a relationship with a dominant who was also a Kung Fu master. He could control his body's energy and direct is out of this hands or chest. When he directed it at me it felt like a combination of static electricity and adrenaline hitting my body. It was so powerful I could feel it inside and there were times that it forced me to my knees. The next day i felt that i had more physical energy and stamina. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience. i never would have believed it if i had not experienced it for myself.

This energy is called Qi or Chi. It is very well known in asian cultures.

So, if the OP has not lost a vibe, is not airborne, is not a resonant cavity, and is not in an arid climate... my next question would be are there any large electrical transformers in close proximity to your play or scene location?

I can't wear watches with batteries - they die after a day or two. I use clear fingernail polish on the back where it touches my skin and reapply it once a week. That seems to make them last a month or two before they die.

Lightning has come through the pipes in my shower and shot copper all over the bathroom while I was in it during a storm. My television has been blown out twice and the water main in my front yard has been blown out of the ground - all during lightning storms.

I can't count how many telephones, computers, and answering machines I have replaced.

It's strange.

After one particularly hot night of making love and watching the sparks fly,
I my sub up to the electrical grid, and she powered the entire neighborhood
for eight hours. Since the power was down due to a hurricane, my neighbors
were especially gratefull. Uhh, no, I think I am confusing my life with an
epidsode I saw on the Sci Fi Channel. It wasn't my sub, but an invisible
alien creature from another universe. Sorry. I got confused there for a
second.
