In the Night and in the Day The Sun and the Moon danced the synchronicity waltz. Each one gazed into the others eyes without a bit of respite. Ever entranced with one another’s magnificence, it was the perfect union. Each morning the Moon would kiss her lover and see him into the day; and every evening he did return, and was joyously greeted by his good love. A marriage under the stars of heaven, joined by the day and the night; Renewing their vows every time come the dawn and the dusk. Empowered was she to take the Sun and giving him a place to rest, Empowered was he, to rule the day, with her love and full blessing. One could not exist without the other, for why would one wish to love alone? Equally powerful, equally whole, in one another they created their destiny. There was never an argument of power for each was distinctly their own; The Sun with his fire, the fire of a man’s heart and the sweat of his labor, The Moon, she on many nights lighteth the hearts of those who would have otherwise searched in darkness, hers was truly a power divine. Was there ever a more perfect union of two, who honored one another so? Would mankind ever see this love and attempt to honor his own lover this way? Honor one another, those who wish to be men to women and women to men. Be the Sun and the Moon, the Gods and Goddesses within, and you will find a Love that many do not know could ever be, the Love that you are looking for, in one another, in the creation of new beings, in the Night and in the Day. ~J 94' (I was 22 at the time)
