Status: offline 		I don't do long distance relationships.  If I already had a slave and he or she had to go overseas temporarily then I would continue the relationship if at all possible.  I would not, however, pursue a new one with someone who was not lcoal to me.

Since there are thousands of male submissives right here in the United States, I would prefer to do My selecting from that pool rather than deal with the complications of an overseas relationship.

Status: offline 		Generally, I view overseas slaves as guys who think they've found a quick and easy way to get themselves a green card.  That is SO not happening.  If any overseas male contacts me, I require proof of their residency visa before I will continue any correspondence.  So far, having been contacted by MANY overseas "subs" that proof has never been forthcoming.

They all just want to come to America... and once they have that green card, they'll be gone!

I understand what you mean about slaves looking for a Mistress to get a green card. I would only want a Mistress with who I wanna get old and being happy. An yes I would also like to live in the states but that is not the reason to get a Mistress overthere

Status: offline 		I actively sought (and seek brit submissives), because I am relocating to the UK. If I wasn't and did come to enjoy the company of a submissive that was at a distance from me, the onus would be on them to relocate in a timely fashion with all their paperwork and finances in order.

I quite like using slaves in different places though I don’t think I would travel outside of Europe to visit one, though I don’t mind if they come to visit me. As of yet I have had absolutely no problems whatsoever in any of my relations with slaves from other places as far as I can see it is no more different in terms of my own safety seeing a slave in another country than it is seeing one in my own. The travelling times are a bit longer and the language barrier can sometimes be a small problem though in my opinion the benefits far outweigh any of these small annoyances.

Status: offline 		I just had to tell a gentleman from another state that he was too far from me to realistically do my training program let alone be my slave. So if someone is from another country, they are certainly too far away for the same reasons.

Now if I live way far north or way far south new to a border by an hour or three that would be feasible. But I don't.

I think he's going to have to have awfully long arms to take out my trash from overseas.

Having a slave in the host country where I am traveling to is one thing, but for regular service, it does NOT suit me.

Status: offline 		I wouldn't want someone to relocate here if they have no family in the states. 

Also, the person has to get to know me well r/t first, which might mean that he has to get his own residency visa, relocate nearby, and visit me often until we decide the relationship will be good for both of us. 

I have a child to protect, and I don't want a bunch of "uncles" coming in and out of his life before I find the right submissive.

Status: offline 		Overseas slaves are usually more trouble than they are worth.  Not as people, but as realtionships.  I have had some wonderful potential boys who happened to live in other countries.  The problem always was distance and the inability to move things forward.  The sheer cost of visiting back and forth before considering relocation is daunting, and the cost and legality of a relocation is just another problem to clutter up the relationship.
Unless someone was a phenomenal prospect, beats out every local prospect I might ever have, and has a means and a prior plan to be coming to the states.. I would never have considered it.

Status: offline 		I clearly explain in my profile that I am only looking for local submissives -- in that they are also residents of Montreal, or within easy driving distance and regularly travel to the city. I figure that if I cannot first find someone in a city of this size, then I am seriously not looking hard enough.

However, that has not stopped foreign subs from as far away as Australia, Japan and most of the European countries from contacting me hoping to start something. As usual -- the majority of them cannot be bothered to read through a profile, or else blithely ignore it instead...

I should mention that I did once have a Brit sub from Berlin; however he was working in Montreal for several months and eventually headed back to Europe. We had agreed beforehand that our relationship would be that of a more casual "playsub", and that it would only last for as long as he was still here. We went our separate ways when he had to return back to Europe, since it did not make sense to continue any long distance relationship.
