and alll my years as a domme i have never use a flogger i am not ashmed to say it but i do need some training do they have or does anyone know of a vidoe that shows hwo to prooerly to use this? i am eager to learn fast ;p;[;)] but i used belts other things so i wonder is it very important to use this? i would like to know

I'd love to watch others, but my transportation won't go the distance to the nearest munch group, and I haven't heard of any dungeons nearby.  I'm good at "book learning" and what I've learned has been very helpful in scenes for helping me think in advance, and avoid making mistakes that could ruin the experience I'm creating. 

I like flogging my way...not sure if I want to get mathematical and stylish about it, it might get in the way of my feelings of it being spiritual and artistic.  Still, I'd watch and learn from others if I could, because I'm curious about what everyone else is doing.

Of course I'd read about flogging both in fiction and non-fiction but before I took up any flogger I hung out in the NYC BDSM communities and watched people use them. I approached someone I knew through the munch and we talked and the next time she and I were at a club she taught me what she knew and watched me. She took me I was a natural (blush) but she still watched and commented while I tried things out.

Same approach I took to learning caning and knives and rope bondage and fire play and several other things.

I know that not everyone can find a good teacher or a mentor so they just learn through trial and error, I perfered learning hands-on.
