How much time have you got? I discovered I needed them over 25 year ago, and have been taking them in one form or another, ever since. And an unusually high dose, too. I have "biological" depression. It's endemic. Quite a few of my relatives deal with this as well. It's not related to anything that may or may not be happening to me in the "real world", and is just part of the way my body works. I have to take them, or I can become suicidal very quickly. It took me about 4 years to finally find an anti-depressant that works for me. Then, in my twenties, I also sought (and found) one that does that and also does not eliminate my sex drive. The one I take (Serzone) has almost no side effects, which rocks. Needless to say, consuming alcoholic beverages is out of the question for me. If I didn't take them, I'd be done for. I already know this through bitter experience. I am not willing to give them up, nor should that (I believe) make any difference to a prospective Dominant. One time, one of them insisted I "didn't need them" (without hardly knowing me, to boot) and I dropped him like a hot potato. Any other prospective Dominant who suggests this to me,will also suffer a similar fate. - Susan
