I wear a necklace with a little pendent that says "Daddy's Little Girl". Last week while I was checking out at a store the girl at the checkout noticed my necklace and said, "Daddy's Little Girl, eh?" I just nodded and said, "Mm hmm," and that was it. I don't know what she thought about it.

Today Daddy and I were shopping in a nearby tourist town and another cashier noticed it. She said, "Oh, I like your necklace!"

I said, "Thanks, I bought it at ___."

She said, "I used to have one that said, "Daddy's spoiled little... something or other. Now I have it tattooed on my... neck."

Daddy said to her that at least she didn't have to worry about the chain breaking or anything. She finished checking us out and that was that.

It was Daddy who noticed her hesitation before saying "neck". He suspects she's got it tattooed somewhere else.

I just thought it was a funny kind of encounter and it's nice to know I'm not the only daddy's girl around here. ;)

As you go around, you'll notice things like that. I have and it's always such a pleasure. I'm sure your Daddy has given you a lovely necklace, wear it with all the pride and love you feel. Congratulations.

How adorable! I haven't run across these as of yet but they definitely sound cute. If I might inquire, where did you find it? I would be interested in obtaining one myself.

Hi porcelaine,

I got it at a department store. It was intended for a little girl and was on a very short chain. We added a jump ring and attached it to a longer silver chain I already had.

The store is called Meijer and they are only in a few states (Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, and a couple of others.) You could probably find something similar at any department store with a decent jewelry department (I think). It was $18.00 I think, but silver was half price that day, so it was a steal!

I've ordered collars from www.cuffme.com and they have a cute Daddy's Little Girl necklace/collar that can be worn to work or other vanilla functions... and some other nice lifestyle stuff. They will ship to outside the US if you e-mail them and request, it's not automatic, but very possible and they will work with their cistomers.
