At least I am adult enough to not let it impact me personally

Personally I could care less his opinion or thoughts on me

Block delete and move on.....Ravenmuse and Level have sunk that in my mind.

I will I have not forgotten the site you recommended.  its been finding the time or literly energy to do so.

I have the entire day tomorrow just to myself until my grandchildren get off the bus, I think that will give me a perfect time to go there.

Plus i have been in the position several times to be that key go to 'grief friend'. I have learned alot just from myself as well as others

Faerie, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad to cancer a few years ago...It just about killed me! he was my hero, my rock. I understand the hurt you are going through. Hugggs and Kisses sweetie! I am sending prayers and love your way for you and your family!

Dad has always been my laughter.  That is by far what is mostly getting me through this. After all the did give me my wicked sense of humor.

Losing a parent is not easy.  I lost my Dad in 1983 and it still hurts.  It wouldn't hurt us if we didn't love so much. 

I'm a hospice nurse by profession, and I can tell you that it does not get easy.  What it gets is perspective.  What we are left with are the memories, the good times, the gentlenesses and the kindnesses.  We miss those, and that's what seems to hurt so much.  If it didn't matter, if we wouldn't feel the pain and the sorrow.

I can't remember who said it, but I believe it's true:  "No one is truly gone as long as the name and the memory live in the heart of one person who loves them." 

My prayers and thoughts are with you.
