I really wanted Latin.  It's the bestest!  I wish I remembered it more, high school was a long time ago.  But!  I can decipher most things in any romance language! (er, well, could at one point anyway, and that was neat.)

Status: offline 		I knew it! I took German in public school, but took French when I went back to school last time. I did okay at it, too. I even went to Paris a couple years ago and didn't seem to say anything too bad. I sure would love to move to France.

Someplace I have always wanted to go.  The museums, the history, the romance..mmm... I just need to learn the language now, and I am set.

Also sometimes quoted as "Je pense, et puis je suis."

English is the most expressive language in the world, being made up as it is from Anglo-Saxon, Norse, Celtic, French, German and Latin, with smatterings of Italian, Spanish and Hindi.  Any natural-born English-speaker should rejoice in their heritage (and yes, I grudgingly include our colonial cousins across the water, despite their best attempts to mangle our vocabulary).

But if you must learn a foreign language, then go for German.  The Germans are very free-thinking sexually, and you'll find lots of open-minded Dom(me)s and subs in Germany.  Plus they make some of the best porn, so you'll actually be able to UNDERSTAND the cheesy dialogue.  And there is the added bonus of being able to look erudite and educated as you trundle out some impressively long words.  The Germans tend to concatenate (ouch!)

On second thoughts, maybe understanding the dialogue is not such a good thing...
