I have a question; Why do some males who list themselves as straight subs or slaves lists of what they are searching for include submissive females, su/sub couples, sub or dom trans etc?

It appears that some have listed they are looking for anything. Why is that?

To be honest as i peruse the listing for male subs/slaves( every body is fairly aware Mistress is looking for a male and that i occasionally look for her as well) i have been passing by these guys wondering if they are subs why are they looking for subs of any gender.

A)  Subject line sucks, I know you can do better

B)  If you're going to keep doing this, we should create a new forum called "Twice's Frustrating Search for a Stable Secure Mature Male Poly Sub" because I don't think you're anywhere NEAR the worst of it.

C)  Because they are like chickens with their heads cut off and desparate to get communication going with ANYONE.  Or, much more rarely, they really are open to any sort of connection because it's not about the sex for them and sex isn't involved in their choice.

.. they're guys... they could have meant a sub sandwich :)  ..bless their hearts

Because they are looking for anything?

To some,anything is better than nothing I suppose.

There is chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry... some people like neapolitan... to each their own, it is no skin off my nose why people like what they do. I have been emailed many times by submissive men claiming I would be perfect for them. I am guessing that they want anything female and with a heart beat, so I am not flattered... But I am not offended either, I just wish people would read a profile once in awhile.

I just worry about getting my needs met and leave others to do likewise

LOL...damn, LA kills me sometimes.

KatyLied -> RE: Why? (8/29/2006 1:46:29 PM)

argh.  This reminds me of men (I'm sure there are women of the same ilk) who have a sub profile *and* a dom profile.  Or even worse a sub profile *and* a dom profile *and* a switch profile.  It smacks of desperation to me.

Owned1 -> RE: Why? (8/29/2006 1:57:43 PM)

Twice I have wondered the same as well, however it is not restricted to male subs only.  There are many who search for everything yet they are very clear in their profile they are only searching for one.

I am wondering if on cm we have attracted a huge number of multiple personalities, that is not even to speak of those who have multiple profiles.

I would love to hear from someone who has this in their profile and what the rationale is.

Yep, what LA said...

I especially like the idea of Twice getting her own forum just for the search.

Twice, when you get to the point where you are convinced that every male sub/switch profile and half of the male Dom profiles are all written by the same guy you will be halfway to the worst of it.

NastyDaddy -> RE: Why? (8/29/2006 2:20:03 PM)

"B" has a sort of stormy de ja vu' reverence to it, if you recall...

LeatherBentOne -> RE: Why? (8/29/2006 2:28:28 PM)

Has anyone ever bothered to ask them that question?

FelinePersuasion -> RE: Why? (8/29/2006 2:37:54 PM)

For me I chose a lot of the list, sub males, sub females, dominant couples blah blah on an on, Because I am very curious and open minded and I chose not to limit myself in my possibilities. It was not however cause "anything I could get was better than nothing"

I'm not a male though and I can not speak for why males select every option under the sun.

FirmhandKY -> RE: Why? (8/29/2006 3:48:37 PM)

My assumption has always been that they are simply cruising for female flesh of any type.

I could be wrong, in a few select cases, I guess.  Maybe.

FirmhandKY -> RE: Why? (8/29/2006 3:49:37 PM)

But probably not.

Kree -> RE: Why? (8/29/2006 4:21:10 PM)

Comment in general:

LA and others - thank you for your comments.  I was beginning to think that I was either A) the only one reading these threads, or B) just a curmudgeon who had grown incredibly weary of this rampant search that was originally about finding a female submissive, and has turned into a snipe hunt for a male submissive.  At least this post omitted the words "motorcycle", "rider", and "biker"... which I found incredible.  I answered a post yesterday and very seriously considered mentioning the makes and models of my BMW's, and my experience having raced vehicles like them.  But you know, I really didn't think anyone would give a shit about the names of my bimmers... or my racing experiences.

Once again, thank you to those of you who obviously have grown weary of this.

FirmhandKY -> RE: Why? (8/29/2006 4:30:51 PM)

I guess you are pointing the way to left field ...

*reads thread through for a second, then third time*

Ummm... I'm not sure what you are reading, but I don't see where you are coming up with that.

And by the way, just in case no one ever told you, or you weren't aware... personal attacks aren't nice.

Kree -> RE: Why? (8/29/2006 5:08:37 PM)

lost,

You obviously do not read many threads or you would understand.
