I'm getting frustrated here folks....where are all the submissives...the real ones who aren't playing games, being fake, or practicing how impolite they can be.

They are probably looking for the dominants....the real ones who aren't playing games, being fake, or practicing how arrogant they can be.

either that or they're already owned and tired of being approached by people who think they aren't submissive because they won't drop their commitments and/or owners to run off with a new online-dominant

HA! Well said (it plays at both ends of the whip, too).

Heaven save me from folks who ONLY want someone who is not prone to castles-in-the-sky; and upon finding such, proceed to make it their mission for you (the not-prone person) to get castles-in-the-sky over them.

I suppose to the very basest ego that would be a coup.

Submissive is a relative term. Your question is far too generic.

Hi and welcome to the forums at CM!

It seems you need good luck looking on the other side of the CM house (personals). Here on the forums we love to discuss all aspects of life and the lifestyle as you have seen.

I am a real submissive i am known in my local community and am active in it. Are you do people know you? and yes we subs are tired of the fake wannabes and posturing peacocks (ahem wont say anything about the cocks being the size of a pea along with their brains) but we are here waiting for the right one for US to come along.

There are some very rude submissives who use the net as a kind of cowards' castle, being obnoxious and rude to polite introductions. Maybe it's all for the best, seeing as I'd never want to deal with people of that type.
I'd also suggest that those 'subs' remove or alter their profiles if they are unavailable and stop putting out welcoming messages.

I am in no way saying that there arent fakes subs out there too. But you cant assume everyone is. But each person has to make a choice for themself. If someone contacts me and i do not feel we are a match i am usually fairly curteous in my no thank you email.

if someone is not available then yes they should be so kind as to say so but they do not have to. A lot do, but not all and some are just players and sigh well that happens everywhere!

I state very clearly in my profile that I am not available. The problem is that many people don't bother to read that part.

And why did you put the word "subs" in quotes in this sentence? Are you implying that subs that are not available are not really subs, but just pretending to be? Or am I misunderstanding?

Oooo...now there's an interesting question.

I joined Collerme about 4 weeks ago and I think I've exhausted all of the profiles for male submissives in a 100 mile radius of where I live. I'm not going to make a judgment call on whether they are real or not....I will, however say, that of the 100 notes I've gotten, probably 5 are legitimate, I've met two real time, and neither one clicked with me in the particular way I need a sub to click with me.

Having said that, I realize, that the reason I stay here is for the forums. I like the exchange of ideas and it's a good (and socially safe) place to toss out questions. Even though I'm connected to the scene in my area, I don't always want my friends up my business so to speak.

You may be right about some of the people, but I know that I speak for at least several others (I asked them about it personally) when I say that what you describe is not always the case.
Do I get an attitude with people? Yes, almost every day. Usually it is for people that ignore things that I have said, feel they have the right to give me orders or demand respect without earning it (among other things).
I now tend to view everyone here as having a less-then-good intent. Perhaps this isn't the way to see things, but I have learned to keep my gaurd up.

Capricious-
Anyone you meet (for a potential relationship or not) has the ability to play games, be fake, or be impolite.
I am a fairly polite person. HOWEVER- I do not respond in a polite manner to notes that are not polite to begin with. I state very clearly in my profile that I'm here for the forums. When I recieve a note (as I did today) that is obviously a form letter and stated cock size, I respond with a bit of anger in my text.
I think the question that needs to be asked is-
Are you commiting yourself to real time? (involved in your local community, posting in the forum, reading up on subjects that interest you_
and
How polite are you?
As Always
