Does this mean I could spend 3 years inside for taking 'violent' pictures of my wife whilst playing consensually?

Bloody nanny state!

Yes,and whilst previouly law abiding citizens will be languishing in jail, the real criminals will be walking the streets!Where are they going to put all of us anyway, the prisons are full they claim.

Ridicolous...pictures cant make people kill people. People kill people. Taking away the pictures isnt going to stop them.

Someone was killed by a hit and run driver in my local town last week, perhaps they should ban people from owning cars!

The problem is that the government always bring things down to the lowest possible demoniator; I enjoy 'play' violence but detest real violence. I have the abiltiy to distinguish between the two, and outside of a role-play situation would not hurt a fly!

I believe that people who commit real acts of violence, be it sexual or otherwise, will do so wether or not they see so called 'violent porn'.

Last night I watched Monty Python the Life of Brian, and I haven't felt the urge to crucify someone today!

So this means that Jack the Ripper, Dr Crippen and even Kane ( Adam and Eve's son ) read or looked at " violent porn " in the local newsagent and / or on the internet did they ? It's the same old same old. A kid kills his friend after playing a computer game so let's ban video games. But hold on a minute, people shoot each other so we'll have a gun amnesty and all the nasty criminals will suddenly think,
" Oh God ! I've wasted my life I must  throw my guns away ". CRAP !!!!

The law banning "violent sexual" pictures is astounding. There are going to be so many fine lines to consider that the law is not enforceable. So to possess an artistic photo of a woman bound is a crime now in the UK?

This has been on its way for a while - but its not Law yet.  It will put both Dom and sub alike at rick. Not just with regard to violent images.

Any 'marks' that last more than a 'short duration' will be regarded as GBH or assault.
Consent given will be irrelevant and a sub would be regarded as aiding and abetting in a crime of grievous bodily harm.

You should be concerned - Look up  the Spanner Trust  and Backlash - these organisations are tackling the issues on our behalf.
