WHYY!!! Is it still writing over my text even though I turned that type over option off. It's extreamly obnoxious and annoying since as I type it erases the next words in the sentance. And I have to save everything* which I do anyway* shut microsoft completely down restart and then it stops, just to randomly start up again.

see the insert key, on your keyboard? Try pressing that and see if it stops the problem. ~Big

Hit the insert key along the top row of the keyboard.
