i can recomend where not to stay,
it is a place in the SFV area called the voyger,
and as far as recomentions it would depend what part of LA you are visiting
opps i am sorry i guess i should ask is La  Los Angeles CA or is LA like  louisiana

most LA motels allow a max of 6 weeks. some sort of zoning law...
