Puppy play - 1/3/2005 9:04:31 PM

It's been awhile since I've checked out the message boards...lots going on around here.

Anyways, I met someone locally who's a puppy trainer and I'm interested in exploring this type of play.

Was wondering what type of experiences others have had in terms of puppy or other animal play?

Where might I get some puppy gear, (in Chicago) to begin training?

Thanks!

Hi rain,

me and my Master have gotten a fair amount of stuff at Petsmart... collar, my own bowl, sqeaky toys, leash. The one in our area actually has beef jerky "bites" that looks exactly like dog treats. We are also planning on getting a dog bed there... i want a cage but my Master wants to get a "people" cage, thinking that will be more comfortable for long periods than a dog carrier would.

The only thing i can think of we want that we could not get there is a doggie tail butt plug... maybe there is wonderful gear out there i'm not aware of.

thanks proudsub! I really should stop by more frequently, it's always fun to see what's up.

In regards to puppy supplies, I have a collar & leash, but was wondering where to get the puppy mitts.

I know that heavy duty knee pads are needed as well- there is a book on how to train a human puppy out there somewhere, but I don't know the name of it- it's got many safety tips for trainers & trainees though.

Cheers.

Ah puppy play I havent done too much like making someone think they are really a puppy. But i have used it for humiliation. nonething like calling a big guy a puppy .Just a suggestion I like the cat collars with the bell on the front :) there so cute.

Proud was rad and posted a thread that I had included the link on, but I'll add it here just to be redundant, and cuz we have some really good links in the links sections all organized and easy to find:

http://HumanFauna.com

There are some lovely links to some awesome mitts there, if you run across any that aren't in the links sectins - please do add them in so others can benefit from your searching as well! *smile*

I love puppy play. I find it to be a very carefree fun kind of play and not humiliating at all. To me pony play is more taxing physically, definitely not as much fun, but also erotic.

Most of the puppy gear we have has come from a regular pet shop.

Yours truly,
Ophelia

Puppy/pet play is fun. As puppies go, think about what breed you are as well. Depending on how much you are into Role Play, don't forget that puppies aren't potty trained which can lead to scat. Remember having or playing with the neighbors puppy? Now you have become the puppy. Submissives and have alot of fun being a puppy. After all puppies aren't well trained and get to pout, whine, demand attention, make messes, and eat all the food. Don't you feel cute giving your master those big sweet puppy eyes?

Also, puppies do get spanked as you are to be trained to maturity. But will the news paper really do anything to you? There may need to be a substitution made there.

Have fun being a puppy for as long as you can. Being ever so curious, cuddly, and energetic. Don't forget to pant and lick.

I also forgot something about puppy training. If you want to take it to as serious as eating out of the dog bowl then for safty reasons keep it clean like human plate and such. Last I checked on what puppy/dog food is safe for humans to eat was Natural Science Chow. However that was sometime ago and I suggest doing research on what dog food is safe for your body to digest via internet and seeing a vet.

A few links for those of you looking for tails!

http://www.puppygirlcentral.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=59 (requires you sign up but it's free - nice tutorial on how to make your own tail)

http://www2.ultra.to/~peko/Vet-toko-garo4-e.html (Another build your own site)

http://www.extremerestraints.com/stat/tt635.html (fox - but it's close to a dog's tail)

http://www.squarepegtoys.com/puppyTail.html (seems a bit pricey to me!)

Enjoy...woof, woof!

i have mixed feeling sabout puppy play. just to play and have fun i think it would be great. but actually training to the point that the sub becomes a puppy constantly just not for me. sure i'd have fun whining, giving puppy dog eyes, making messes, playing. But it would have to stop before the point of eating dog food and certainly no pooping on the floor . For a couple hours, maybe even one day (with breaks for obvious reasons) it would be fun though

Hi everyone...

There are two books out there that come to mind in regards to puppy play. One is titled "Grrrr" and the other is "Woof!". Both can be found at Purple Passion in NYC. The website is www.purplepassion.com

Why not just mash up some SPAM - http://www.spam.com/ - in the bowl. Spam and most dog food smells about the same. If well mashed up I bet you can not tell the difference when your face is in the bowl.

DISCLAIMER: puppy play is not my thing and I have never trained a human puppy.

That might work for someone who is really squeamish about dog food. But um.... Spam may actually be less healthy than many dog foods. Certainly the fat content is enormous.

Hey there,

I've not checked this thread in awhile, thanks for the links.

Just a quick update, I have really jumped into the puppy play with both feet, (or 4 paws depending!) and I was asked to be part of a presentation on puppy play this weekend.

I'm a bit nervous b/c I'm so new, but the folks who will be there with me are great & very supportive.

Despite the fact that I'm outgoing here, I am actually quite shy in person, at least initially!

I went to an animal night party sponsored by a local dungeon and had a great time! One of the other pups there tried to hump me, and boy was I surprised! I just bust out laughing, especially since he's a gay pup!

Thanks for the info folks...I'll pop back in to see what else is going on.

Cheers!

The fellow I'm currently embarking on training has a huge love for being a pup.

Ray and I keep teasing him about having a ceramic newspaper around to whack him with lol.

I finally told him, one day he should expect that ceramic newspaper to appear one day as I simply would find it too funny to pass up to make one or have it made just to waggle it at him all menacing like as a surprise.

I think his face on seeing that thing actually existed would be PRICELESS. LOL!
