Fake Profiles (Full Version)

How many profiles do you all come across out there that seem to be, well, fake. I see quite a few of them, though nothing like a majority. I just saw this one pop up on the screen http://www.collarme.com/bdsm/v/333089/rzvh/68663/details.htm to pick a random one. This has all the hallmarks of something that doesn't right true:

- Very attractive, young woman in a provactive pose
- Lesbian profile with "NO MEN!" in all caps
- Few if any personal details, likes/dislikes, etc.
- Seeking extreme slavery, "NO RIGHTS..NO safe words" etc

I see a lot of these types, though they are not the only ones. I was just wondering what other people's experienes have been, and if there are any other generic types of profiles that you see a lot that just don't seem right.

There are fake profiles that exist, but the example you linked doesn't seem to support your claim.You might be fake.[;)]

First of all being a lesbian..then you kind of have to use NO MEN in caps..but that even doesn't work on some of the guys......
I don't have that many personal details, likes/dislikes etc. does that make me a fake?
Attractive..ok personally I don't find her that particularly attractive (ok I'm talking about a person who sent me a message I'm shouldn't be saying this =X)
No rights No safe words well yes that might be a hint of fake...
but I don't understand your issue with the rest I mean how many NAKED profiles of females are on here? I see tons of them every day[&:] and I get sick of them and my hidden profile list keeps growing[:D]


and your interest list isn't that very long either actually..only long blablabla-ing (sorry I just didn't bother reading it since you don't "interest" me :) no offence )

I would take a guess that 30% of the profiles on here are fake.

Does no one else see an issue with someone coming on here, picking a profile they happen to not like, and posting it into the forums as "fake?"

It's people like this I blame for my cynicism.

I know it's no use, but it adds spice to my mumbled rants.

Believe me, if you've ever heard a crazy guy rant on about how it's all his own fault, you'd know how boring that was.

However, if I can go on about how the fakes and the fingerpointers have destroyed CM, then THAT's a show!

I'm a complete fabrication.  I put a lot of thought into crafting my profile so that it would appeal to the widest possible range of perverts.  Since many of them are fake too, I guess we're just circling each other trying to fake each other out.  I've considered going the other direction with a new handle like 'fakesub' or something similar but I'm too lazy to get that going.  I'm just a big phoney.

When did this thread become 'all about me'?   DAMN.

I am not so much bothered about fake profiles rather then inaccurate ones...to be more specific:
If you want money for your time, please make that somehow known in your profile or journal.
Then again i have yet to come across a myriad of wannabes to change my mind :-)

The above listed example might as well be from a less- or unexperienced person, imho.

The ones with a professional model type picture that request you to tell them everything you would do to them in your response are so obviously from a guy. But I always wonder, most if not all the responses would also be from guys, so wouldn't that make the fake poster... gay?[;)]

I once heard of a rather desperate male sub who posted fake domme profiles to distract his counterparts.

I think you're going to have to alter your avatar to make the smiley a little more cynical, sarcastic looking.  Maybe take away the above-the-head collar.

That's just me, though.

well, there is one Dom gent from Toronto, age 44, 6ft2. He also has a sub profile as well.

To top that off, he said he is divorced without kids (to me,), but in speaking with other women, he has said he is married with kids. He said he wanted me as his submissive, but seems he used that line with four other ladies as well..that I know of.  If he dealt honestly, i would be NOT bothered, but he lied a lot about a lot of things. Faking a sick sister in New Brunwick when i never heard of him. Denying that he had kids. It is one thing to lie of your marital status, but to lie that you do not have children?  ARRGGGGHHHH...that is just low.

Brilliant!!   Now that's thinking 'outside the box' as they say.  It's definitely playing dirty, but it's still funny. 

You know what, come to think of it (speaking from experience) I'll bet he's still at it and most of the "Domme" profiles on here are just BS.  That would explain a lot.
