My parents dated long distance for 6 weeks then got married. They were married about 12 years. I'm not quite sure when my dad met my step monster. I'd guess 3 or 4 years before they were divorced. If you ask either of them it was a good 12 years and if they could they wouldn't undo it.

When you know you know and each has there own.

I knew a couple who lived together for happily for 10 years. Within that time they had two kids and bought a house together. Then they got married. Within a year, they divorced. After a year of being seperated they decided to live with each other without marriage ever being an option again and are happy.

My dad has been married and divorced four times. Him and his girl friend have been living together for over fifteen years now and have no plans of getting married. If it ain't broke then why fix it? That's what they tell me.

Either way, no matter how long you know each other, you never know what's going to happen untill after the fact. I wish your friend the best.

Knew a couple that married after knowing each other 3 days.  They celebrated their 50th anniversary.  I on the other hand date and lived with hubby # 1 for a year then married and knew within a month i had made a big mistake.  Stayed 3 more years when i  had no choice but to divorce or murder lol.  Divorce lawyers are cheaper than a great criminal lawyer so he lived lol.

Next time Clint is in the bible belt of PA, he and I are going to the county clerk to get "our, he and i" marriage license".   we plan to broadcast it on a webcast.

heck- we will even call a news conference.

when this fails- we will incorporate- thus becoming that single entity.

-i could claim to be a woman trapped in a mans body....

we also plan to form a consumation veriferier committee.

as well as NULL and void any second marriages. WHy should 2nd mariages be abolished> they threaten the sanctity of marriage.

plan b- is to form an apostleship.   1 man, 12 apostles.
