Settle down folks. No, you don't bring the Constitution to court, the whole idea is to never have to go to court. Now listen, I am not saying to take my advice, I am specifically saying NOT TO, at least for now. Not until you understand the whole thing. I have walking talking proof that it works, but like anything else there is a downside. I need to slake down a couple of more coffees before going on. Suffice it to say don't do it. I don't want to see anyone in jail. Court is like an inbox for jail and if you get to court you already screwed up. You don't fight them in their court, you fight them at the mailbox. I personally saw the paper they sent this guy which stated he was now classified s a non-taxpayer. I had never heard of such a thing and until I saw it I was quite the skeptic. It's been over ten years now and he enjoys all the fruits of his labor, except for what he spends like a drunken sailor. He doesn't even drink but his kids are like a black hole for money. They know right where he is and what he's doing. His business has a respectable size ad in the yellow pages. The test of time is what does it for me, if you tell me that your system worked and you haven't paid in 6 months it doesn't amount to a hill of beans. We are talking over ten years here. Now this guy is a contractor, remember what I said about watching what you do for the rest of your life ? There are a few cities in which his company shall not work unless the customer gets a homeowner's permit for the job. Because as a contractor, in those cities you must agree that employees will pay city tax to get the permit. First of all, this doesn't look good to ask the customer to get the permit, and I know in one instance he had to simply turn down a quite sizable job because of it. I told you it works, I have seen it work, but I have said and I'll say again, this is not to be taken lightly. Among the more ominous of the things you need to watch, it is recommended that you do not register to vote. It's a sad shame that this is how it is, but the whole premise of how this works comes back to your status as a Citizen. There re so many things you need to be on the lookout for, I could never provide an exhaustive list. This is why you must understand it fully before undertaking such a step. There are many in situations that preclude doing it as well. If you work at a bank forget it, if you work for the gov, no way. In these cases, which I kinda would like to deal with first, there are alot of things you can do to help yourself. For one, if the IRS wants your money, you don't have a phone. Correspond by snailmail. Always. I dont care if your family of four has eight phones, they strangely don't work when it comes to the IRS. Also, you do respond in a timely fashion. You do not ignore them. They will not just go away. You can make them go away, but if you haven't done that you need to deal with it. If you don't you could go to jail, of that there is no doubt. People have a set of perceptions. They see a big building and it means authority. For example, how many people with good credit go looking for a home loan like a sheep, feeling as if they are asking for a favor ? That is not the case, the banks only really make money by loaning it, they WANT your business. When you prequalified for your last house, how many banks did you call to get the best deal ? When you go sit at the desk and hammer things out, do you remember that you are the customer or is how much you want the house constantly on your mind ? This is what I'm talking about, part of it is a matter of self control. Any of these entities treat you differently when you walk in there confident, knowing the facts and using them to your advantage. For example, in case you didn't know, if the IRS makes ten phone calls asking for information from you business associates or friends about you, you just won $1,000,000. Yep, $100,000 per instance. It happened a few times in the last decade. The same court that might put you in jail is the one to order this, and they do ! You do need to sue them, but if they did it you win hands down. Every witness you bring, when they say "Yup they called and asked if I knew ........" you put a little check mark on a piece of paper. Each of those marks represents $100,000, and friends, here's the best part. That money is tax free ! Knowledge is power, and I am never going to use all the power to the fullest. The second part of the saying is that knowledge shared is power lost. Yes it is. If you and I were competitors in business or, say, at an auction I would never share the knowledge. But we are not competitors. There is so much out there they just don't tell you about it is sickening. Let me give you a small tertiary example. You've had a job for years. You don't drive at work, but you do drive to and from work. You are a pot smoker and they decide to start random drug testing, and you come up dirty. They fire you. This is the happiest day of your life even though some hard times are ahead. Now, they can refuse to give you a job for pissing dirty, they can refuse you promotions and other things, but they can't fire you. If you've been on the job several years and they say "You're fired", laugh. Ask them if they're sure they want to do this. Again, do not call, write. Call a lawyer, a good one. File for unemployment, but remember you'll hve to pay it back. Once you get the lump sum from the lawsuit you will have to be honest and pay it back or you might wind up in jail. You see, with a good case they will have to pay you lost wages, in essence they will have to pay you to not work. The problem is you have to hold out somehow. Now get this, you are willing, available and able to work, so you qualify for unemployment, this will help as the litigation creeps along. You can also work anywhere else you want. If you make less, they will pay the difference. A smart company offers you a chance to go into treatment, all you have to do is relapse, and they STILL can't fire you. Now if you drive or operate dangerous machinery this does not apply. We are talking about regular jobs most people have, working in a restaurant, office whatever. You also must read the employment contract if any, and the company handbook or book of bylaws. they can protect themselves from this, but it must be from the beginning. What you don't know CAN hurt you. I have slid a stack of papers across a table refusing to sign an agreement with a probation department under extreme threat. They made it sound like I was going to do ten years for not signing. Nothing happened. Get this much in your head, if they need you to sign so bad that they must threaten you to get you to do it, it is not in your best interest to sign. Why do they need you to sign ? Well even if you do live under statutory law (later) it only goes so far. No rights are gone so quickly as those signed away in "agreements" with the government. Signing anything with those people does nothing for you and everything for them. Get this, if you sign a 1040 and don't pay, you have agreed to the penalties and interest. You lose period. If you miss payments and enter an agreement to pay on time, with penalties and interest, you must pay it. There is no getting out of it. So just don't sign it in the first place. I gotta run. The phone rang. This has happened before but this time I gotta go take care of something. I will be baaack. T
