Your picture was very nice, and I think you should put up whatever avatar you prefer.

For some reason....and this is just me...but for some reason, I find the whole avatar thing interesting, because on one level, its very easy to identify very quickley with who wrote the post but on the other hand, I find most of them visually distracting when Im trying to read.

Your photo was nice, because it wasnt an "up in your face" kinda shot, in other words it was a good 'identifier', yet the photo was just distant enough to not be distracting.

Yeah, I hear ya.  I thought about it, but there is something about that yinyang that is so mesmerizing.  I love it, so I opted to keep My pictures in My profile for now.  I suppose when I get tired of the twirly that I will change it to a photo of Me.
