Last night I recieved a call. ---ok- a few month back- I had a simmilliar call come in from my best friend. I said "let me call you back when I am done masterbating" I lost track of time- and tasks...a few days later jims asked me right away. "so are you done masterbating?" I said "what????" I had forgotten about the other day. LOL So last night a call came in. Lady 5 fingers was at it. I told my friend. "im putting stuff away, lemme call you back in 5 minutes" <--- white lie and then did. ok- spill it.

If I don't want to talk, I just tell them. And I never say..I'll call you back, I say....I'll talk to ya later.

Well, I am bad. I hate talking on the phone, hate it hate it hate it! I do it all day Monday thru Friday. Idle chatter with an hunk of warm plastic and metal glued to my ear is NOT enjoyable. There have only been a few people that have been an exception to the rule. I tend to just not answer my phone letting it go to voice mail and then decide if I need to call them back. Usually not.

Yes, I hate the phone too. But, if I do not feel like talking any longer I just go silent, then if they do not get the hint I tell them that I am going to get off the phone.

If I don't have time or am not in the mood to talk, I generally just don't answer the phone in the first place. If it is urgent, they will start talking when the answering machine picks up, so I can still take the call if it is important. Otherwise, I let the answering machine and caller ID do their jobs and call them back at a better time. Lady Topaz
