Ok...dominate is a verb...as in "i will dominate you".....you cannot be a "dominate" person....I just wanted to get that off my chest...if one more person tells me they are "dominate" i'll just scream! lol...if you are gonna be DOMINANT then dominate the language......ahh...i feel better now

What makes you think if they couldn't get through high school, a driving test, and possibly college, without learning it then a 'dominaNt is going to help? It's possible THEY JUST DON'T WANT TO KNOW!

There are, of course, the exceptions. People with learning disabilities and the like (as has been pointed out on previous threads on this topic) are the obvious exception. It's kinda hard to believe that THAT many people have this particular kind of LD, though.

I agree , a Dominant dominates. It seems peculiarly American to use dominate indiscrimately.
