When I was first in this, I had a bit of a surprise on a visit to a club that used to be here. I was roaming around, chatting with folks. I looked up and saw a face I had seen before. I thought hard on who it was..I kept staring. Luckily, she did not see me staring. Then it hit me like a brick wall. She was my niece from my previous marriage and my daughters first cousin! I did go up to her and she looked hard at me and she said, oh my goddess no..you have to be kidding! We hugged and laughed. Everyone wondered what had happened. When others and including her husband/sub saw us, he was confused too. We finally stopped hugging and announced to those around us what our relationship was. It was a shock for everyone but it did bring us closer. Even though they are divorced, I am still in constant contact with both.
I have also seen a few in public. Mostly it's a nod and walk on. If it's someone I know well, we act like all friends do, happy to see one another.
