Just curious as to what, if anything, ever became of the CM meet and greet. I started the thread way back in May and now I do a search and see not much posted since then. I find it hard to understand it may have fell by the wayside after so many were so hyped about it coming to fruition. Just wished I could have been consistent in being on the boards here to have keep abreast of things, but during a move to NC near the end of May, I was involved in an accident and sustained some injuries from it. All better now but simply wasn't able to access the computer for quite some time. Does anyone know what happened? Sure was looking forward to some debauchery and depravity out in Loki's wilderness.

I haven't seen Loki in several weeks; he said something about having a back surgery, I assume he's dealing with that, but maybe someone has more concrete info?

I sure hate to hear that Level. As I said, I haven't been on here in quite some time. Sure hope he's doing alright.

I have wondered the same, made an inquiry or two and not gotten any concrete info. The internet is an odd medium. You can feel like you have come to know a person so well only to have them disappear without a trace.

Thanks for your response La Tigresse. After all the intense interest at one point, I find it fairly odd that only you and Level have responded with any info whatsoever. I was of the mindset that at least a few would have taken the thing and ran with it, seen it through to at least work on the logistics of such an event. I know full well the planning stages alone would take a considerable amount time. I guess I shouldn't have spent some much time away from these boards, but truly didn't have a choice in the matter at the time. Oh well, maybe we can try again at some point if the same interest is shown by a select few. I am of the opinion that the planning should take place only after enough have committed to attending this event so as to be absolutely certain the costs are covered.

Check the old thread. When reality came into play, cost, date, work involved, it died. It's one think to represent that you have "40 secluded acres" and other to have to deliver the place to arriving people. We did one of these. At the start there were 40-50 people from CM who said they'd come. Ultimately less than 10 showed up in Vegas. It was still a great time, and I'd do it again, but keep in mind; "wanna-goes", or "i'm-gonnas" are as common as wannabes.

Maybe it would be easier to find all the people in one state and have a state get together.
