ORIGINAL: aleshaDreams OMG Focus, yes the orginal post is the same inquiry as the second. However. trying to maintain 'focus' on the original inquiry is: For those Dominants that use the word strict how do they apply it in their D/s relationship. The inquiries are the same different wording prehaps. The question was asked, I requested perspective from Dominants/Masters that use the term and their application of it so to speak; I did NOT nor did I request a bunch of opinions thrown in as matter of factly statements. Hence, if a Dominant uses the term or not it is irrelevant (reverting away from the opinions of those that seem to have an opinion). I requested information from those that do........ how simple is that. Now with that out of the way, focus on the question at hand please. I did not request a bunch of opinions. Thank You Everyone that responded to the question, it has come clearer to me. Ok, let's just agree I'm really dumb and now I need you to spell things out even more specifically. IE, the underlined passage - "that use the word". I'm a Dom, of course I'm strict with my sub in many ways - maybe not as strict as some; maybe more than others. But when you emphasise "that use the word", as opposed to administering the action, exactly where do you mean, if not the profile? This isn't helping: quote:

I requested information from those that do........ how simple is that. Where you state "simple", I see contradictory, thus complicated.... Either you wanna hear only from those "that use the word" or it's irrelevant if a Dom uses it.... Ok, enough of the word play.... Surely all Dom/mes apply "strict" as a normal part of maintaining a D/s relationship or general dynamic.... What's the big deal about those "that use the word" (in their profile?) as opposed to virtually all other Dom/mes who practice it anyway? Some things just don't need to be said in a profile; they become redundant - in name at least.... But hey, this is a public board expressly for offering opinions, and I yousta "use the word", so who is more "Focus"(ed) than I? Focus.
