Cables -> What was the first tool/object/device you used? (1/5/2005 8:57:29 PM)

Just curious to know how many of you started....

Paulnz -> RE: What was the first tool/object/device you used? (1/5/2005 10:02:07 PM)

I used my hand to begin with. I was very young ( don't know if I'm allowed to mention the age ) and I used to take a friends younger sister out to the boat they kept in the back yard and there I'd spank her and slap her. This progressed to a short cane, the type that comes with a doll at the A&P show. Then we'd read kinky bits of the ' Man ' mags her father had, the hottest story was about flagellation if I remember correctly. Ah...those were the days. Many years later, at a function in a Christchurch wine bar this same person, now a very attractive woman, comes up to me and asks if I remember her. I thinks to meself uh oh I'm going to get a serve. I said I did remember her and how nice to meet etc., and she says that she remembered the boat and how nice it was. Glad to be of service !!

I used what was used on my brother and I by our father, a 2 - 3 foot length of electrical cord. Doubled over, it made for some pretty tear drop shaped welts... that was well over 24 years ago and my tools as well as technique has greatly improved.

cheers

My brain. - and btw - STILL my favorite.

My first thing was using rope. The woman I was with at the time (not a BDSM relationship) wanted to be tied up. We both enjoyed it so much the I started to learn more about it and practice it more and more and it quickly turned into my love of Shibari.

The first thing Master used on me was his hand, we got our first flogger shortly afterward. [:D]

FangsNfeet -> RE: What was the first tool/object/device you used? (1/6/2005 4:17:21 PM)

Interesting question.

I must say that my first tool was my favorite tool. My Mouth.
As far as non body parts, my first time I used rope to tie her to the bed.
Then there was my belt that I like to use for bondage and whiping. Later I gained trust to use my keys and then my Knife. Everything else just fell into play. Other than tools, Whip Cream, Cheese it, water guns, ice, and Mr Good Bar works as some interesting tools as well.

Oh Darn, Mercnbeth made me remember way back in the old days. Yup the mind is the first and best to use. And I use it as best I can. As the old saying goes "Use it or Loose it" Thinks for joging my mind and reminding me of that.

Bigbossman4u -> RE: What was the first tool/object/device you used? (1/6/2005 8:34:31 PM)

The first object used on me other than hands and the usual dildos and vibs was a riding crop. OMG i loved the sting and it gave me my first bdsm bruises. I was so proud to wear those bruises.[;)]

Oh god. You -too-? :) Poor Barbie, I bet she has stories.

ShadeDiva -> RE: What was the first tool/object/device you used? (1/7/2005 1:23:03 AM)

Um.

Barbies. Plural. As in dozens.

And they were ALL switches.

And ah, they would have bondage fests - in fact this is my earliest memory, of having about 20 barbies and kens all naked and tied up with yarn - I was 2 and my mother caught me. Her facial expression is burned into my mind, lol. Okay not tied, but looped. But it was obvious what I was *trying* to do. LOL!

And no, I hadn't seen anything to make me come up with it, I just dreamed up my naked barbie tying game all on my own.

I started early, I guess. LOL

It's hard for me to remember the very first thing I used (I started at age five!). But I certainly remember the first time I yanked the rubber band out of my Paddle Ball toy!

Yeah. That sounds about right. Though we only had about 8 barbies in the house, 1/2 of which belonged to my sister. THat and I was never much into Kens, so Barbies and Skippers and Madges and whatevers had some....fun...all on their own.

I actually learned quite a bit about tying various things up. :)

Though, my favorite Barbies were the ones getting tied up and the ones I liked less did the tying.

My parents saw a tied-up Barbie -once-, said I should stop doing that. I made sure they never saw it again.

Great minds think alike!

Suleiman -> RE: What was the first tool/object/device you used? (1/8/2005 3:36:42 PM)

Jeez, I don't even remember. Wasn't my brain, tho (took me a few years to really get into the swing of things, as it were). Problem is, since my first experiences were in the company of more experienced folks who had their own relatively well equipped toybags, I kind of got the grand tour from day one.

Lets see... my first session as a sub I think I remember ropes, clothespins, a couple different weights of flogger, and hot wax. I can't remember if the cane was introduced on the first or second date, but I think it was the second, as was the sling and riding crop.

First experience as a top... hmmm... You know, you'd think I'd remember something like this, but I was so nervous all I can recall is overwhelming performance anxiety. Oh, well... as the funny little man from Nightcourt used to say, "but I'm feeling much better now"
