The term "true" as used in this particular context, seems to be a way for some people to express that they are more pure in their dominance or their submission than the rest of the peasants that have BDSM relationships. Perhaps a new phrase should be coined... Instead of "True" Dominant, we can say, "Dominant with an over developed sense of self worth." Instead of a "True"..(Or in some cases, "twue") submissive, we can say, "Submissive with an overdeveloped sense of selflessness as long as he/she still gets whatever he or she wants." How come you never hear about "True" switches? (In case it wasn't evident in the post...I hate the term "true" as a prefix to someone's place in the power exchange.) ~Thorns quote:
ORIGINAL: sub4hire Over the past few days I've noticed more and more thread's with people using the word "true." I have to wonder what exactly that means? Are their untrue people as opposed to true people? Or are true people supposed to be more real than untrue people?
