In the immortal words of Richard Pryor as the "platinum healing glove clad faith-healing preacher" in Which Way Is Up....

"You expect a whole lot for your dollar don't you Earl... now go sit your ass down and maybe come back tomorrow!"

I pay proper tribute to tribute seekers by allowing them to co-exist around me. When I get slammed over the head repeatedly with their empty moneybags and forced to endure their rational or beautiful explanations of the money kink and it's benefits to society, I do tend to feel much less conservative about their co-existence.

Intense multi-faceted, often rose-colored fervor of their quest(s) for satisfaction and validity simultaneously leaves me very moved... moved in any direction away from the ensuing melt-down, if at all possible.  It is quite fair to say there are idiots on both sides of money trees, both the grubbers and the givers.

While I can co-exist with them rather easily, I do not practice money kinks and it matters little how many attempts are/are not made to "buy me off"...

Again, ROTFLMAO!  Hysterical indeed!

Rafters -> RE: Have you ever paid a tribute? (9/5/2006 4:46:10 PM)

I've never been paid a dime for the things I do.
The most I've ever received from a subbie was a plate of muffins.

Hmm muffins [:D]

Time to break out the old, Homer "Call me master" Simpson, mask for some roleplaying, me'thinks [;)]

The flip side of this - how many Dommes have been offered "tribute" even though it's not something YOU ask for?

I get such offers of tribute frequently, completely unsolicited.  I suggest that they tribute the money to the Red Cross or to their local PBS station, but as yet I don't think any of them have followed through.  Perhaps I should have them send me the money, then donate it myself?

Inquiring minds.

PrincessinLatex -> RE: Have you ever paid a tribute? (9/5/2006 5:24:32 PM)

I guess those that do it just don't fess up. There have been several guys that initially contacted me from this site that have sent me some sort of tribute. I've never had to ask for it. On yahoo, I get amazon gift certificates from people I don't even know. The only point of contact is the email address. . .but I actually have no clue as to who the person is. . .or if I've even had any kind of interaction with them. A lot of the guys that do these tributes (drive-by tributes I call them) say that they want to prove their "sincerity." I don't think that this is uncommon at all (except for maybe on this board) because most of my domina friends have the same experience. The gifts are generally very expensive fetish wear, gift certificates, or plane tickets/accomodations for trips. A *LOT* of these men prefer to remain anomymous for some reason. . .I guess self preservation? I'm kind of wary of this type of gifting. . .there usually is a string *somewhere.*

ExSteelAgain -> RE: Have you ever paid a tribute? (9/5/2006 8:17:22 PM)

I was once in a motel room with 25,000 dollars cash in a bag (a long story) and a sub who offered to hold it for me. I told her that I loved her dearly, but I wouldn't trust my mother with 25,000 dollars cash.

PS....to a certain reader here....remember that? Heh

cloudboy -> RE: Have you ever paid a tribute? (9/5/2006 9:01:00 PM)

I will offer $75.00 tribute to watch you and Aakasha mud wrestle on a web cam . I might pay more if you would incorporate some bondage handicaps like a posture collar or something.
