My late grandmothers warm ruhbarb-strawberry pie, with homemade vanilla ice cream. Actually, any dessert mamaw made is the best...sort of funny how that works.

I made 10 dozen cannoli a few months back. Word got out fast and suddenly I had relatives dropping by that I forgot I had. I have a great recipe for them....and yes...they have to have the chocolate! (and the ends dipped in pistachios) I'm 100% Irish...but I grew up next door to the sweetest little old Italian lady in Brooklyn, NY....and man could she bake!

uh huh....well the Irish aren't exactly known for their culinary skill...but I grew up on the best Italian food...and it didn't hurt that one of my bestest girlfriends is Portugese/Hawaiian

Cannoli rules. Im not one to mix the whole food and sex thing...but.....Just once...Id love to unzip a man's pants and find a cannoli there instead of a dick. Now THAT I wouldnt mind swallowing.

I hate when I do that, but I didn't proof read well enough.. I spelled rhubarb wrong. I have a touch of OCD and can't correct it now. I just wanted any spelling fairys know that I did see it and would have corrected if I had gotten to it in time. Back to the yummy thread.. sorry folks.

sex in a pan is the best dessert ...... it is a six layer dessert... the bottom crust is made of sweet melt in your mouth shortbread.... then a layer of cream chesse blended with icing sugar.... then a layer of creamy chocalate pudding.... then a layer of smooth as silk whipped cream.... then a layer of melt in your mouth butterscotch pudding... and to top it all another layer of smooth as silk whipped cream. it is best if left to sit in the fridge for 24 hours, the flavors all blend together to a explosion of sin when you put it into your mouth and just let it slowly melt on your tongue. * guessing i will be making it for when my Lord comes home next* Knight's alandra

My favorite is caramel pie. To make it, you boil an unopened can of sweetened condensed milk for an hour. (Make sure you keep the can covered with water because if it boils away the can will explode and you will be scraping caramel off the walls forever! Unfortunately that happened to me once.) Then line a graham cracker pie crust with sliced bananas, cover with the can of milk which has turned to yummy caramel as you boiled it, add nuts if you like and top with whipped cream! Very rich but amazingly decadent. sp
