Playful, My point is that all movies are dramatizations always "based upon" facts. They are dramatizations NOT documentaries. The point that Moore's movies and to a lesser extent Dole's, are listed as Documentaries would put them at the level requiring all information being factual with facts representing the contrary side also represented. Moore's supporters seem to say his movie didn't represent fact, but it's still referred to as documentary. Not seeing it, I take their comments as a reason not to. The consistency of my posts is the wondering why President Clinton is concerned about a dramatization? Why isn't there the same cavalier attitude regarding the President Reagan movie or Fahrenheit 9/11 movie? Is it because it's about a terrorist attack or a disaster? Again, where is the consistency to the dramatizations regarding the Pearl Harbor attack or docu-dramas about the dropping of atomic bombs on Japan? Go back to the latest treatment regarding the Titanic, do people believe the there was a 'Rose' & 'Jack' and the "Heart of the Ocean" necklace is now at the bottom of the North Atlantic? Maybe your problem is in your opinion that "much of the public takes watching this or fact rather than digesting it as a work of fiction". Well they need to begin learning that process. Whether they rely on news from the "Foolish Old Xenophobic" news network or the older, more established "Communist News Network". If this movie instigates such a movement, then the production will have served a better purpose than ever intended. For others who need to know; West Wing, NYPD Blue, Oval Office, 24 Hours, The 4400, and the Simpson's are all fiction. If you want reality watch Star Trek.
