I rarely do parties.  To many drunks and the music is usually way to loud.   LOL   What I have been doing is chasing my great grand daughter.  in 2 hrs today

she went outside to play.
attacked the dogs
got into the charcoal and spread it all over the yard
fed the dogs one kibble at a time
told the neighbor how to knock bad apples offf her tree
told the landscapers across the street how to do their job
fell on a 2 x 4 and got a cut on her cheek (I was chasing her because she was trying to subdevide my DVD cases)
Took a bath to get the charcoal, dirt, dog food and blood off of her
after she was all clean and dressed and I had brushed her hair I was putting her clothes in the washer with some of my stuff and she fell back in the tub so now she has no clean clothes and has to run arund in her diaper.
Threw her 3 mo old brother on the floor from the sofa
took off her diaper (it was wet) brought it to me, squatted and grunted so I put her on her toilet seat.  She got off and put the toilet seat on her head and couldn't get it off
tore up the instructions to my new tv
and took my pillow away from me when I tried to put her down for a quiet time (I don't tell them it is to take a nap, that happens naturally but when I tell her to take a nap it doesn't happen).

Anyone want a 2 yr old

Now be honest, did you tear up the TV instructions or did she ?

I know how it is, you plug it in and if the batteries ain't in the remote it spends a half hour looking for the remote. Then if it's got that gemstar or whatever, then it takes an hour to get done fucking with that. All you wanted to do was watch a DVD, now it's too late and it's bedtime.

So because you were trying to play a kids DVD so you could sit down for a few minutes, of course you had the 89 page instruction booklet out (for a fucking TV ! ). she gets ahold of it and tears it just alittle bit. Fire comes to your eyes as you convince her to give it up and thenyou tear the thing to shreads resulting in some really good laughter.

I have seen such things happen almost, let's say close. If some shit like this happens, listen up. Don't give into it, or else you and her might go on a spree, finding all the phone books and who knows what else.

Incidentally, just a word to the wise, if the kid tears up books or booklets, it is time to start them reading. Not even the ABCs yet, but to read to them and get some books that have pictures. Induce interest and they won't want to tear the shit up anymore.

Anyway, just proving again that I have too much time on my hands.

Many of us with high speed 24/7 connections that also use tabbed browsers are probably doing at least 5 things at once - I know I am most of the time.

Sometimes, I just leave everything running and walk away - eventually my electronic stuff hibernates by itself.

So we may seem like we are here, but we are not here at all. Or we might actually be here after all. It just depends.

No  I bought the TV while my son was visiting from Cali (for the labor day weekend I had a 3 mo 1 yr 2 yr and 3 yr olds)   He set it up and made the CD Player work (I couldn't get it to work on the old TV).  She has already gotten rid of 2 yrs worth of phone books (8 from Phoenix, 2 from Lake Havasau City, 2 from Kingman and 2 from Laughlin NV)   I am afraid of taking the newpaper   I would never find my floor.

She can't read yet, Hell she can't even say Grandpa   she calls me Nana and points at the candy dish or where I keep the glasses (she wants pepsi).   Her 3 month old brother just cries.

Mom and dad work evenings and instead of waking the babies up in the middle of the night they spend it with me.    Mom (my grand daughter) and Dad both have been sick so I have been keeping them 24/7 lately so the kids don't get sick.

You can't trust a 2 yr old.  She can even defeat the child proof locks I have on my cabinets.   Do you know how hard it is to get used to having catches on everything.    I had to put hasps and padlocks on the doors to keep her out.  She uses the shelves on the bookcase like a ladder to get to the DVDs.

She has her own bed at my house.   We had a severe thunderstorm and some flooding and do you think she would sleep in it.  NOOOOOOOOOOOOO   she came in my bed, took my pillow (there are 4 on the bed) and kicked me out with her cold feet.

I need 3 slaves    One for me and two to keep up with the kids.   LOL

LOL Boy do you have a handfull.
I read alot of the posts, but many times, it's already been said in several ways and I don't always feel compelled to state again, what has already been said.
I also might have a few windows open and since I also work while still being online, I get called away from the forums and am doing other things. I could be in here for 12 hours and not really be here at all.
Most of the time, the way it works, I open a tread, read a few comments, go do other things, come back, read a few more, and that continues till I'm done with the thread in an hour or so. I also have the tv on most of the time, so I can get caught up in that as well. I'm usually multi-tasking in some way, or another. I'm sure my posts reflect it too LOL

My computer is logged on here 24/7.  I usually have about 3 threads open, usually my most recent posts, and check for updates once in a while.

So, ask me again what I do while I'm logged on...

I tend to log on and then get sidetracked with something (work, phone, you name it ) and forget I am even logged in.
