Every once in awhile I will get a page from a man professing to be a sub. His name will appear in black, but no profile will be found. What's up with that?

Sorry, it's not the same at all. That thread is talking about profiles with nude pictures or at least something to see- I am talking about them not having one at all, like they are coming in from "behind the scene" somewhere...

There is a lot of discussion of blank profiles in that thread if you go beyond the first page. My search was for "blank profiles" and most of what came up is in that thread.[:)]

i belive those are profiles that dont exist anymore, or unapproved. now speaking of profiles, why don't i write someting, i dont know....

i don't have a profile. i chose to do that because for one i wasn't searching for anyone and secondly i had been hurt and needed time to heal. Some people might also not have a profile in order to utilize the message board and get some responses. i think there could be a number of reasons. jill

I am guilty as well of not having a profile. I do so enjoy coming to the forums and even though I had written on my profile not in search of a Dom or Master at this time, so many people kept writing. I do not ever want to be considered rude and not respond, then my response was taken as an open invitation, so I just deactivated for the time being. Was this the correct thing to do? hmmmm, not sure, but sounded like an answer at the time....a profile vacation. (smile) Respectfully, Willing2serve1
