Anyone remember the massive Republican handwringing over Whitewater?  It was a scandal involving a couple hundred thousand dollars.  If you combine everything they dredged up about the Clinton's, both of them since the dawn of time I don't think you would get to a million bucks.

$8,000,000,000 in cold hard cash went missing in Iraq, the total in tainted money tied to the Clintons is about 1/100th of a percent of that amount.  Not a peep out of our Republican friends.  Not a peep about the billions in sweetheart deals.  Not a peep out of them for massive deficits.  Not a peep out of them for massive new bureaucracies.  Not a peep out of them regarding a president who is a poster child for their caricature of a Democrat run amok and because he has an (R) after his name, they get on their hands and knees and suck anything he whips out.

I wonder if Bush could propose that America adopt Spanish and become atheists if Republicans would start rolling their R's and start burning all churches, not just black and Jewish ones?

Let us not forget also that the Clinton Administration barred those companies convicted of fraudulent practices from doing business with the government. Before Dubya even had the seat warm in the oval office he recinded that order allowing all his cronies {see Haliburton, KBR ETAL} to be snout deep in the public trough again. One can only imagine how much money has gone God knows where.

I cannot believe that yet again, the man who has God's ear and daily counsel is being criticised like this. As such, his deeds are not only above reproach, but also part of God's plan for the world, and therefore such attacks are indicative not only of a lack of patriotism but also blasphemy. No money has gone missing - it has been allocated to those who can use it to further the work of God upon Earth, which surely has to be a good thing?

By the way, I am utterly crazy.

Your post is just too well worded to be nothing but sheer sarcasm...lmao

Lordandmaster -> RE: Whitewater (9/8/2006 12:41:43 PM)

So you mean the war in Iraq was a faith-based initiative too?

CrappyDom -> RE: Whitewater (9/8/2006 2:01:57 PM)

L&M,

Well there wasn't any logic to it, that's for certain!

Hang around, we'll be coving "Teapot Dome" next and without spoiling the ending, it's not about tea but just as timely.

KenDckey -> RE: Whitewater (9/8/2006 2:49:28 PM)

Here we go again.   If you have the proof that laws were violated then lets prosecute.  Otherwise it is just another silly acuzation.   And don't go dragging out your news articles.   I don't believe them either, regardless of which service you choose they all have their slant.   I would prefer to see somthing that would hold up in court.  You know the judicial one not the court of public opinion.

CrappyDom -> RE: Whitewater (9/8/2006 3:19:01 PM)

KenDckey,

Then I assume you believe OJ Simpson was innocent?

Oh and while we are at it, what was either Bill or Hillary convicted of?

As for me, I am sure all three were guilty of something but I believe Bush is worse than all three combined.
