Can anyone recommend a place in the DC area where one can order custom fitted corsets?

I don't know of any stores right now who are retailing their own lines of corsets that are custom cut anywhere near the district. However, two events where you'll find corset vendors come to mind:

The Crucible hosts their 13th Leather Fleamarket and Play on September 23. This is generally the who's who of folks who vend in the DC area. A list is there on the site: check into Delicious Corsets (Psydde -- he is the custom corsettier in the region), Le Chateau Exotique (Joy, Shawn and co) and Passional (Kali and friends.)

I'll jump in there and back Delicious Corsets (www.deliciouscorsets.com). I have one of theirs is a copper silk, and it's very well made. Great people to deal with as well.

Thanks. Do you know anyone who takes the measurements/fittings for these custom corsets? Do either Delicious Corsets, Passional or Le Chateau Exotique have anyone local we can contact for fittings?

They will all BE there in DC on those mentioned dates. They will ALL do fittings. Actually, they will all have stock corsets with them as well.

Thanks but we probably won't be able to make it due to the surgery. Is there anyone who can take the proper measurements when they are not here to order a custom one?

Go to www.deliciouscorsets.com and contact them for information on providing measurements for custom fittings.
