I wonder (well aww shucks not really but it's good for conversation) why a site like www.collarme.com thrives and www.tolerance.com doesn't exist.

Nothing against collarme.com they are doing a great job. Just a random thought.

I'd really like an ice-cream cone.

Why do you think?.......Personally, to me it is not only the CM staff (who are terrific) but the layout of it is useful. So many options to choose wether it is to chat or discuss forums or play games look at profiles etc etc etc..Along with the varied many personalities drawn to this site make it highly enjoyable, interesting, and sometimes downright hilarious..That so many bring into play such diversity, it truly boggles the mind. It opens up so many ways to view any given subject..Whereas with other sites that seem to lack IMO the thought provoking, nitty gritty text.It not only makes me think,it makes me reevaluate many preconcieved notions. So how many sites can claim to provide such?...Tempting

It's quite a study in human freedom isn't it. All us free-thinkers can't even stand ourselves at times.  So we complain and think that someone will understand :)

Remember.. it's only intolerance if people don't agree with you.

I have learned to never accept that anyone will accept anything unless it justifies their own actions/beliefs or they can  profit by it.

Actually, at first I thought this board would be a safe haven for tolerance and open-mindedness.  I mean really, look at the lifestyle.  We are social outcasts.  So if anyone should be tolerant, you would think it would be us.

Unfortunately I quickly found out that was not the case.  There is no tolerance and open-mindedness here.  Only with what agrees with you.  One example of many is the attacks on Christianity.  Another is the attacks on Bush and Republicans.  There are many others.

The saving grace is the mutual commitment to the lifestyle and the support that affords.  As far as tolerant and open-minded, sorry, but anything but.
