Yesterday I saw the film 'Book of Revelation' in which three cloaked and masked women  kidnap and sexually torture a young male dancer. The torture includes sodomy, CBT, genital piercing, bondage, forced masturbation etc (it's an extensive sequence of about 20-25min I estimate). The advertising for this film presented it as rape and the repercussions on males of the gender reversal etc.
The interesting thing about this film is the beautiful way the film makers have presented the torture sequence, it is by far the most beautiful sequence in the film. The masked women are obviously beautiful and alluring and would have no need to capture a man for sex. They free him after 12 days with no permanent damage and he is left alone to go on with his life.
Has anyone else seen this film and if so; what did you think of it? For a film supposedly focussed around the horror of rape, did you also find the torture scenes strangely erotic and appealing compared to a traditional rape scene?

Found a trailer but had to use IE (which I hate) to view it instead of Foxfire -- not sure why.

Looks very intense and interesting but is it out in the USA yet?

I've checked with my local indie movie house and this movie is not released here in the states. All we have is the trailer to go on. Is it in general release where you are (and pardon, I don't even know where that is since this is your first post and it's not listed in your missive.)

I just viewed it with Foxfire, didnt have any problems with it. Though software can be quirky at times. :-)

I would definitely go to see this it looks very interesting and it would be refreshing after so many kidnapped women/sex slave movies/books.

I read the book a long time ago and enjoyed it.
I found the preview to be incredibly erotic.  HUGE turn on. Oh my.  Between that and hockey training camp, I'm going to need a few new pairs of panties.

The film is an Australian production, shot in Melbourne. I believe the book however was set in Amsterdam (but don't quote me on that), the film is set in Melbourne.
I'm sure it will eventually reach your shores (USA),  sooner in Europe as they more often use our local films in their Film Festivals. But if other films are anything to go by (eg Garage Days, Oscar and Lucinda), it may be out on DVD here before it even reaches the cinema's there (it's depressing for us Australians as well!). You may need to get if off ebay some time in the near future...it won't last long in our cinema's either (one the Palace Cinema line is playing it) and it will soon be availiable to buy.

I'm sure you'll like it! And the dancing is a bonus!

After doing some more digging, I found the movie on IMDb:

And the novel that it's written on here:

YIKES! That would be kind of scary, lol. Yet, at the same time strangely provocative.... lol.
