Well, no one has welcomed you back so far, so I guess I'll do it!
What you say about BT is something I personally nearly experienced myself; until I got on the phone and bitched at them until they came and did the whole thing for me, over Christmas. The guys were actually quite pleased about it as it turned out, as otherwise they'd have been staring at the walls for the day. Never understood why companies get their staff in between xmas and New Year, to sit with nothing much to do, but there we go. Its also the reason I let my two guys have a few extra days over the holiday - my goodness I'm nice!
BTW the only person I know with any connection to BT was my dad, (now retired), and I dont think he'd take too kindly to me spanking him.....!
