I have found that old-fashioned tallow candles burn even hotter than beeswax and will cause burns and blisters. I have two scars (the two drips I tested with) from my teen years of wax battles to prove it.

i am sure you are right, Charis309, the element of grease/fat in tallow candles would be very dangerous. Most people forget about this option. Thanks for the reminder. Humbly, Master's dorei
